Thank you for the p'm stating all Dinosaurs had these bases, Juan King. I looked in my "dinosaur's I've seen today" checklist book and noticed they all had (well most) had these bases.
And thank you Mike Doogan, for explaining the evolution of the bases to the point where we no longer need them. I WISH I STILL NEEDED A BASE TO MOVE. AND A TAIL. M:C |

Real Dinosaurs don't eat people. It says so in my book.
They eat leaves and bases. If you where dressed as Barney I wouldn't ignore you. As long as you didn't eat my plants and my new fitted base. And no I don't draw lines at wheelchairs they find it an inconvenience and the council are much better at making lines. They have special machines to do it. M:C |

People applaud TinkerBell flying overhead setting off fireworks at Disney Parks while clearly seeing the wires. It's spectacle. I love it!

Now look, pal - there's a new museum in Kentucky that demonstrates quite unequivocally that dinosaurs co-existed with cavemen (no word yet on whether Geico offered getting-stepped-on-by-a-dinosaur insurance).
I mean, since the museum says the earth is only about 6,000 years old altogether, there's gotta be one or two of 'em still around, right? Probably lookin' for a little work, too. |

So I go to class the next day, and I'm telling my students all about it. To my memories I added that nowadays I find Tinkerbell pretty hot. The students looked around at each other a bit nervously with quizzical smiles on their faces. Then I became confused myself. Finally one brave woman had the nerve to ask, "Really...you think Paris Hilton's dog is hot?" Jeff |

(Members of roughly my advanced age):
You didn't hate your Aurora plastic-kit 'Creature from the Black Lagoon' model because it had a base, did you? Nah, it was way cool! |
