Need some ideas to finish out a routine... Doing a short stage show and the story behind it is the "janitor" cleaning up the stage after other performers. Planning on doing bowling ball out of an empty bag, 6 foot straw, ever filling spitoon (can't think of the things name right now dagnabbit), plus a few quickies involving rabbits. Comedy is a must. Any thumps upside my head to get me thinking will be greatly appreciated.
I have found that I do not suffer from insanity... instead I rather enjoy it! : )

Poodle... the other white meat.

Theres a great gag where you fill a box or a bin with rubbish and as you walk of stage with it, theres no bottom on it so all the trash you've picked up just stays on the stage.

That's a gag? That just happens every time I tidy the house.

Anyhow, check out the chicane/wayne rogers products as he makes an appearing broom from a paper bag which will be easier to fit into your routine than a straw.

What about:
as you're sweeping up a phone rings and it is the magician. He is apologising for being late and asks you to do the tricks by following his instructions over the phone.
Vanishing Bandana springs to mind.
Baking a cake in a dove pan where you mess up, flower for flour, steel nuts for nuts etc. At the end you produce the cake.

Gaeton Bloom had a trick where his sponge would always wring out water. Bring out your broom and do the handkerchief through it ala silk through microphone stand.
