Here is a link to a t.v. spot that David Parr and I just did. Some of you will recognize the effect. I hope you will all marvel with me at the fact that David Parr ACTUALLY performs this effect on t.v. and gets a GREAT reaction.

Those of you that are in the area should stop by and see David perform this LIVE at The Magic Cabaret. For more info on the show visit http://www.magic-cabaret.com

David has a great routing crafted around this effect. Which btw t.v. time did not allow for.

Greetings

Nice effect and it got a great reaction.

I have no idea how it was done but I do not need to know to enjoy it.

What was the voodoo doll for? I would have liked to see you really spook em. Nice bit of advertising, well done guys. I live on the west coast or I would be first in line, BELIEVE!!!

Philemon! You naughty devil! Funny, cheeky, naughty devil!

The whole routine was not performed as we were severely pressed for time. But the VooDoo Doll does come into play. Ah t.v. time is a very weird thing. If you are in town please drop us an e-mail and try to see the show. The routine is really fun, when you get to see the whole thing!

I thought that little guy who walked out on the page and pitched Toyotas was pretty cool tech.

AS to the trick...I saw the strings holding PT head up and the mirror was tipped.

Other than that...great idea for the show! Have a sucess.

Funny, I love the patter.

I have a prosthetic leg (not for magic purposes) and I used to jam thumtacks into it when I was a kid to freak people out.

I heard you do a late-night show where a different piece of anatomy is used in place of the thumb. True?

Gordon, you are a sick little monkey. No, actually, you are a very tall sick monkey.

In the show, there's a lead-in to the "Pincushion" in which I demonstrate another of my left thumb's remarkable qualities. It is a digit of many talents. In fact, it was once appointed ambassador to France. But that was because of a clerical error.

A classic non-denial denial. Clearly the rumors are true. I should also say that in the late show version it is said that you have to use a foulard instead of a napkin.

A foulard! You insult this man's integrity. We actually use a life size reproduction of the American flag! We of course cannot use a real production of the American flag as that would insult the very nature of the country that gives us cause to celebrate such artistic ventures. The appendage in question shall remain in question, but I ask what appendage is it that can JUST be covered with a life size reproduction of the American flag? I will give you a hint. It ain't his thumb. But it involves a cabbage and a butcher knife!

It really depends on which part of the cabbage you use.

For more on what is Kosher visit http://www.hebrewnational.com/index.jsp

For those of us who love hot dogs...and what Chicagoan worth a pinch of celery salt DOESN'T love hot dogs? National Hebrew makes THE BEST dogs, pure beef! Check em out!

I wonder if Dobrowolski is reading this?
