Hi Guys,
I have a restaurant that wants to implement a reply card. Mind you, I all ready have this gig and have agreed to help the management staff with this endeavor. What they want is to gauge how the entertainment is received by their patrons. The managers have decided on a reply card that the guests fill out…short and sweet, a one sided postcard sized piece. (The second side may possibly be used for a free drink or desert). They want to ask things like…how many nights should they offer entertainment, what hours would the guests like to see some form of entertainment…etc., etc. My question to the forum is what questions would you include on this form? Bear in mind that it is a postcard and many of the questions will most likely be in the form of multiple choices and not essay. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks, Lou

Well you are mixing 2 ideas first off.
The "Free Drink" is to get them back in the door. So if they take it with them, there is no way they can fill out the questions. As for these things, they can help or hurt depending on how it goes. I generally think they are great help in keeping a gig. Keep the questions general in nature.

Danny-
We have that covered. In order to get the desert/drink they have to turn the card in at the bar. The restaurant has free tokens that they can use for either a drink or a desert. So we get the reply card immediately and use the token as a bounce back coupon on their next visit. What questions would you ask? Could you be specific please. Lou

The free drink/desert card can be filled out and give to the waitress or bartender right away. The hospitality will be what brings them back.
Then thay can fill out another free drink/dessert card. How often do you visit us. -choices- 1st time, weekly, monthly, etc, etc. Hours you are likely to visit us. -choices- morning, noon, evening. How would you rate the overall service. -choices- - best, very good, acceptable, shabby. Is our entertaiment something you look forward to.-choices- Yes, No. What can we do to improve your visit. ______________. ---- KEEP THE PENCIL----- hehehhe |

Have them add a line for other magicians to put their contact info should the restaurant want to hire them for less....that way the poachers are represented.
