Here's a great classic Gleason sketch that I found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQUwCil8N......;search=

The audio isn't good, so you'll have to turn it up.

Gleason was a genius....

" Can it core an apple? Ohhhhhh... It can core an apple." LOL You won't get that if you are under 30.

Matt... here you go. This is part 3 of one of the classic episode I referred to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXg0xYrOE20 That line is such a classic you'll even notice someone posted it in the comments. LOL

BTW... don't be in a rush to be over 30... that'll happen soon enough. LOL

Best,

Tim

Nice handcuffs, Dannydoyle... it's gonna be a long train ride!

When I visit New York City, I try to get to the Port Authority bus station on 8th Ave. to pay homage to the lifesize (and believe me, the belly is right on) bronze statue of Ralph Kramden in front of the station - he's dressed in his bus driver's uniform and is carrying his lunch pail.

Good for NYC... They don't forget there legends. Here is another example of how they remember those who brought recognition to NYC... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Howsweetitis.jpg

Tim thanks for the memories, but small quibble: isn't it "Can it core A apple?"

Yes Jack you are correct. My "proper english" keeps getting in the way of that memory. It IS " Can it core A apple?"

I'm 32, but most of these guys will die long before me.... so we can laugh at them later. Unless I die of the many things that will probably kill me and you smoke marijuana and fund terrorists and they kill us, you included.
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.

"WEELLLLLLLL! It certainly looks like rain tonight!" Had to be up in his top ten of brilliant lines, and Alice' rebuttal, "Now that you've let the whole neighborhood know...."
