With a Trick I came just up.

No here is what I did:

You know the gimmick from Richard Sanders - Behind my Back.
A gimmick to vanish a card from the deck.
Now you know the trick using this gimmick in the Richard Sanders Show 2(or 3):
the magician stays away from the cards, the spec cuts to one card, takes a little peek, the deck is shuffled by the spec and then the card is vanished.

now here my variation:

prep: I had a duplicate of the force card in the deck(doesnt matter where it is) with a big, huge, large, gigantic, enormous, fat X on it.

here is the effect:

I showed her how she can peek at a card, so that I really cant see it(in reality teaching the spec how to activate the gimmick).
then I went to the other side of the room. I stayed there until the very end.
the rest of curse is selfworking.
with the gimmick on top I did the good old cross cut force. time misdirection while pattering and then she peeked the card. she said she has problems because the 2 cards(well without exposure, if you know the gimmick you know what she said).

then I said: now cut the cards. she was surprised. shuffleall the cards: she was amazed and said; you never will find this card.

I said: imagine you grap the black marker(i really had a black marker lying on the table the whole time). imagine to put a great big huge X on your card. still remember your card? she said yes.

I said turn over the cards and spread through 'em.....this took a while, but the she gasped: yes she gasped: she never gasped, and she is my first spec which always sees my bad practised trick first and gets bored very qickly.(she is so overflowed by me)

I shut up. she talks. she really scared - really scared. the best reaction I ever got from her by far. and I did every trick to hear at least once - evryone I know. ACR, card to orange, cramped, back in time, Mr. stickman, BCS, stigmata, indecent, sinful, invisible deck, paperclipped, silk vanish, oout of this world, galaxy, cosmos, sponge balls, what if......strong stuff - but this was the best reaction I ever ever ever got from her.

Now here is what it made it so strong(acording to what she said agterwards):
the X was sooo BIG and FAT. she was scared of this card. she showed me her arm - she got the creeps.

one last thing: before that I did it to my grandfather - he was bored abd unimpressed the whole time, but something funy happened.
he shuffled the cards: I said turn over the cards: he said: WOW tha't it(spotting the bottom card)

this of course was not true, you forced the 3D and then it was the 7D. I did a mistake and did not finish at the point. he saw the X card, after spreading through the cards way too often(after 3 times I said: now spread again I thing there is something strange) then he saw it. was not impressed at all, because he forgot his card.

now a qick overview about the trick:

you never touch the deck.
spec cuts to a card, peeks it, shuffles the deck.
now the important part: he imagines drawing a X on it.
then he finds a X on his card. he finds no duplicates or other x cards in the deck.

when you describe the effect like this it relly looks super fair, and direct and impossible:

the best: it is self working.

Now I want you to do something for me, please:

try out this version of Sanders freat work, let them imagine dawing an X on the card.
and tell me your opinion, even if you tell me: "i didn't got any reaction at all", I am happy, that you tried it. if anyone has question about the gimmick feel free to pm me.

greetings Gelbe
