Here's hoping you can join us at this year's Hurricane Hugo Juggling
Festival!

The festival will be Friday-Sunday, Aug. 31-Sept. 2 in the Knobloch
Campus Center on the campus of Davidson College located just north of
Charlotte, NC.


We'll be featuring the same general lineup of activities as in the
past:


· Friday and Saturday night Big Fire Juggles (bring your torches!)
· Saturday morning public juggle on the Village Green
· Saturday afternoon Games
· Workshops
· Saturday evening communal dinner and prize raffle
· Saturday night Vaudeville Extravaganza hosted by the Fettucini
Brothers, and featuring physical comedian Dave Kaplan, Zen ball
dribbler Kevin Lowery, ventriloquist Steve Brogan, magician Renzi
Norris, and hoop twirler Julia Hartsell.
· Free crash and camping space
· $15 registration covers all


A new feature will be a Sunday afternoon 2 p.m. Reprise of the
Vaudeville Extravaganza. We've had to turn people away in the past on
Saturday night, so we figured we'd schedule a second show on Sunday
and see what happens. The Sunday show will be free for all registered
jugglers.


Things will, unfortunately, get a little crazy Saturday night because
the athletic department recently scheduled a home football game to
begin at 7 p.m., right before our Vaudeville Extravaganza in the same
general location. But that should provide us with a big audience for
the Saturday night fire juggle.
