Yes indeed, ALL PROCEEDS (minus tithing from systems such as PAYPAL) will be donated to the INTERNATIONAL CHILDRENS WISH FOUNDATION. Yay!

Let the Flytrap allow you to do all the dirty work right in front of the faces of your participants! Joshua Quinn’s Danish Ivoredux Go ahead, read a random horoscope… then let the Mighty Mentalist Quinn use the astrological to bring you into the incredible with a feat of miraculous mind reading! Winged Death A riff on an H P Lovecraft tale: meet the gambling bug… Frank the Fly. A warning for hecklers. Proof of soul transference into an insect? Nitokris An atypical opener with a sealed prediction made weeks in advance, an ancient Egyptian ritual, a lot of audience participation, and the revelation that an audience member is the reincarnation of a 6th Dynasty Sorceress Queen from the Land of the Nile. Origami Oracle A Japanese Ghost Story (Kwaidan): accompany a young, brave samurai warrior on his quest to lift the curse of a haunted glen with the help of a mystical cat. Death Toll An off beat routine that attempts to demonstrate the possibility that a psychic residue forms from horrible traumatic accidents and that such forces may contain warnings for the living to heed. Flytrap ready!
A BIG THANK YOU to Greg Arce, Joshua Quinn, Bruce Ballon (who also took care of all the layout and editing stuff!) However, if your mailbox cannot receive a single 3MB+ file, you should not order the e-book because you may never get it into your mailbox.
Then you'll rise right before my eyes, on wings that fill the sky, like a phoenix rising!

He means, you can throw tomatoes at me when you spot the typos - heck, I'm a physician, not an editor ... in any case, enjoy!

Sheesh... mentalists are snapping it up... but not my fellows in the Bizarre?... weird. Well, some of you asked me to publish more of my whacked out ideas... here there is a quintet... plus you get real pro's in the world of mentalist sharing ideas as well...
Sigh. I guess I should have renamed the book CRICKET CHIRPING EXPERIENCE

I've had the pleasure of reading this fantastic book.
Here are the facts: This 93 page book contains: A complete discussion of the Fly Trap device, its construction, and its use. And 79 pages of routines. Joshua Quinn A mind reading miracle that is out of this world (well it uses the stars) 3 by Greg Arce (pun 3-fly) An imaginary holiday, a confabulation routine, and a triple prediction. 5 by Bruce Ballon Bizarre magic mixed with mentalism, all very clever, well constructed and unique. These are three of the best minds in the field. And their contributions to this book are excellent. Paolo Cavalli is a genius! Master performer, writer, creator, and innovator. This device is further proof. Paolo's device is simplicity in action. Easy to construct, use, and integrate into your Arsenal (sorry Greg could not resist). When you read about this you may smack yourself on the head and say, “Why didn’t I think of that?” One reason, you’re not Paolo Cavalli. Tony Iacoviello |

I've had the pleasure of reading this over the weekend.
The gimmick is lovely, and (cliche time) worth the price of the manuscript. What I want to stress though is the quality of the routines from our own Spektor: it's a fantastic set of resources for any bizarrist, and my personal favourites are Beelzebub & Death Toll - in fact the latter is going straight into my next stage show. It's mentalism with Meaning (capital M intended), and gives a frame and context for same well-known effects. And the best thing? It's all for charity. Honestly, Hilford would be charging us 4 times the price if it was his! Thanks Doc!

Thanks for the kind words, Steve!
The best honour is always when someone will actually try your stuff out! As you can read in Death Toll, it was inspired by a true tragedy that occurred to me... and in fact, I often work out my troubles by converting them into creative works, like magic routines. Please let me know how it goes! All the best, Bruce

Just sent the money. Fella's that was quick. Usually its a few weeks after a teaser is put up till the product comes out. Can't wait to get it. Purchasing anything that will help others is always well worth it.

When my bank account recovers from buying a Swami Spirit Altar, I will have to buy this. It certainly sounds interesting and useful.

The only criticism I have if that Bruce describes himself as a "Mizzarist";
surely in the interests of alliteration it should be Bruce Ballon, Bentalist? ;-)

Highly entertaining and informative read. Everyone involved put some deep thought into their routines. Joshua Quinn’s Danish Ivoredux was a fun interactive piece that caught me off guard while reading through the e-book. Devilishly clever and inexpensive device the Flytrap is. Kudos guys.

I have read this several times now and it is very good. The flytrap device is simple but extremely clever, thanks Paolo! All the routines in the book were very good, I paticulary enjoyed winged death and look foward to using it. Thanks everyone who was involved for publishing this...

Hmmm... I'm a doctor - not a typist!
Of course, it could be in reference to "Let me take your hat" and the robot takes off a person's head... I'm glad you liked WINGED DEATH - an HPL fan I take it? That was the weirdest one in the set... a horror with some attempts at humour inbetween the magic moments to lighten it up... it creeped out my wife too much before I added the Frank the Fly angle.. Talk about getting "Whacked"/"Swatted" Thanks for the typos... feel free to PM me any more you spot! All the best, Bruce
