Hi Guys,
Anybody got this booklet and willing to share some review?

Illogical Dribble Force
by Justin Higham

There is, of course, illogicality and illogicality. Actions which are illogical from an effect viewpoint are, naturally, to be shunned. But there are certain moves which, although illogical or discrepant, pass by unnoticed. Examples include the Tenkai Optical Revolve, Through-the-Fist Turnover, Flushtration Count, Olram Subtlety, So-Simple Force, and Jay Ose False Cut.

In this treatise on the Illogical Dribble Force, Justin Higham explains a method for forcing one or more cards from either a face-down or face-up deck. Although illogical, the move is easy, casual, and visually deceptive, and can be done in an instant with no prior setup.

Contents include:
The Basic Move
Face-Up IDF
IDF Aces
IDF Count-Down
Return of the Pseuds
Ambitious Estimation
IDF Ace Production 1 & 2
Illogical Prefiguration (Baker)
Illogical Hofzinser (Baker)
Palm-Replacement IDF
Casual Palm-Replacement IDF (Baker)
Double-Sided IDF
IDF Plus Tabled Double
Illogical Ace-Cutting
Illogical Dribble Control
IDF Sandwich
IDF Key-Card Placement
IDF Predicted Indicator
IDF Predicted Sandwich 1, 2 & 3
Pseudo IDF 1 & 2
IDF Plus Ace Switch-Out/In
Illogical Acid-Jazz Aces
and Equivocal Acid-Jazz Aces
20 pages, 15 photos, A5 (8.5" x 5.75"), saddle-stitched with light card covers and illustrative cover design.

Thanks a lot.

Title: The Illogical Dribble Force by Justin Higham
Medium: Booklet
Arena: Close up pages
Available: Any shop, distributed by Murphys Magic Supplies

The Illogical Dribble Force by Justin Higham was previously available as a download I believe. The booklet is very well written and consist of 20 pages with a stapled binding. There are a limited number of photos and drawn illustrations but they are all that is required to get across this interesting force. If I was to have one complaint it would be that the text is just large enough for me to read without straining, it could have been a bit larger, or even a traditional size, but it isn’t a deal killer, I just can’t escape the effects of aging.

Most who have been around card magic are familiar with the Dribble Force. The Illogical Dribble Force is done by using a dribble but that is where the similarities end. I don’t want to tip too much but this sure is an illogical move and like many illogical moves it passes by the specs. It is actually, in looking at the Illogical Dribble Force compared to the traditional one, the illogical one is cleaner. This is one of those forces that you’ll look at and thing “no way will this get by spectators”….it does. If there is a fault with the force it is that the card is produced face up, when doing it the basic way, which is fine for a signed card type routine. In most cases that I force a card I want the cards identity to be unknown to anyone but the spec but there are still those occasions where face up is fine and this may be the best face up force I’ve seen.

You also get a number of effects and applications, most are pretty good and the rest interesting. These include some ideas on loading a card from a palm and an interesting application for ending the Jazz Aces or LSD Aces (Enchantments by Wesley James, great book). I was kind of surprised at the number of ideas Justin had for using the Illogical Dribble Force and pleased at the same time because they were not just made up of filler in an attempt to plump up the product. That about covers it. If you are interested in learning another force for a face up card this one is pretty cool. Do be prepared not to believe it will work when you first see it because it is, well, illogical. In closing I want to say that Justin did a fine job with credits. Nice product.

I purchased this recently, and thought initially "no way will anyone fall for that".

Although I haven't done it "for real" yet (hey the book just came last week), with some 'in front of the camera' practice I can see how it will fly by the spectators.
Pretty ingenious really. And as MagicSanta said the booklet is filled with some extra ideas that aren't just filler. For $15 you can't go wrong!

Just wanted to revive this thread. Has anyone else purchased this piece, and what do you think of the move? Is this force just for forcing a card face up?
