Hello everyone! I've been reading posts here for several weeks and have been quite impressed both with the range of skill levels and interests as well as the helpful atmosphere.

I've had an almost lifelong interest in magic starting with a Mickey Mouse magic book purchased in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. I performed children's shows throughout middle and high school. After high school, as other interests took precedence, performances were limited to friends and family. Now that I have children of my own to perform for, my interest has been rekindled!

Glad to have you here in our virtual coffee house Christopher!

If children's magic is your interest you will enjoy The Little Darling's Forum.

Magic is one of the things that my son and I share, and it's been great for our relationship. Maybe it could work as well for you with your children.

I don't know if anyone is going to read this. But I agree with Gordy boy. I used to do a lot of tricks for my son when he was 5 I was able to get him everytime 30 times in a row with a simple french drop, and then pulling what ever it was I vanished out of his ear. Now he is 10 and interested himself. Bought him his own magic kit, helped him learn the tricks, I even taught him a few of my advnced tricks and he is doing rather well considering his age. Before the only thing we really did together was video games. But now we do magic together. We'll buy tricks and DVDs and learn at the same time, and then argue over who gets to show his mom first. LOL it is great he was even my assistant at my first showing I did and I think he up staged me, the people loved him.
