Well since the thread began on openers, let's here about your closing ideas. If there not my "regular" customers, I will always close with a money trick so as the cash is already on the table (hint hint hint).
However, if there my regulars and no that I accept HINTS then I will close with either Cups and Balls, Card on Ceiling, the Floating Bill (see hint) or if I'm feeling a bit strange and odd as I do today, then I'll blow up a few 260s, twist em' into swords and go into a balloon sword swallowing act.

Sometimes I like changing a playing card to a business card. It gives me the perfect closer. Carl Andrews sponge ball routine is also a great closer.

I tend to go where-ever the wind takes me really, but I will often close with CMH, finishing with the vanish of one of the bands.

If closing with a card trick...A card to impossible location, ending with my "semi impromptu blank deck". Otherwise I like that Stargazer trick leaving them with the souvenir star rubberband...

Try closing giving the kids a present. One good one is the "Two Card Monte." Or you might want to close giving the kids a special custom made club card. The kids would want to keep that card to show their friends. It can generate more business to the restaurant.
It would be good to have the club card with your and the child's name on it. Plus have the name of the restaurant, and the days and time you will be there. |

I use Jay Sankey's routine, Full Lotus. It's pretty good. Also, I'll sometimes open and close with spongebunnies. Or, the ID is always a good bet. It all depends. There are a ton of good closers IMO.

Yes, IMO there are far more sutiable closers than there are openers. I have a lot harder time finding an opener than a closer.

I agree that card on ceiling is great to close with. The final loads from a good cups and balls routine can be great to close with.

Benson bowl ala Tomsoni/Biro. Can't follow it. Cards only? Blizzard if I have it, borrowed deck? Card on forehead.

I can close on anything. I often use the nuts and bolts opener as a closer and it lets them know that I am a fun guy. I sometimes close on doing 3 riffle pases in a row to show them sleight of ahnd. I don't slow down to teach them I just blast thru. This is a showcase routine.

I use John Alan´s Destination box (Card to box) or card to wallet. I have a tendency to close with cards. If I´m in a hurry I also like Full Lotus. Quick and strong! But normally a do something a can build a good, strong climax around. (ex. The Ambitious Card with the card to wallet or box)
All the best! Fredrik
