Magic Rob in Denver, why not at least think about doing this as a part of future shows? get creative, go wild, Make it a show stopper.

Thanks Ron,
While I think there is definitely a place for a character as unique as "The King of Magic", I am looking at this performance as an excercise in creativity and as a favor to the client. I have too many other projects that I am currently giving my energies to. If I can just have a fun time, make some fun memories and get paid for it - I'll be happy.

Besides, I don't think I could compete with Just_Larry in Memphis!

When finishing up classes at University of Memphis (Memphis State Univ. back then) I worked at Graceland as a tour guide. Sometimes I would dress up in Elvis-garb and perform magic for tourists visiting the "mansion". My friend Gary Jenkins, in Nashville, performs a very funny "Fat Elvis" routine along with is regular act. He gets HUGE laughs as well as beer cans thrown at him..lol. Anyway, whatever gets your audience rolling in the ailses or spewing their drinks out their noses, is what I say!

Good Luck! JEFF

Have to wear Blue Suede Shoes and then start moving the leg a lot and then do the bowling pin production as perhaps the reason why you had to move the leg that way. Could be funny.

I don't know how "new" the idea is.......Not sure when Steve Best first did this bit, but Chris Korn had a similar effect - "Chosen Card from Butt" - that brought down the house at LVMI a number of years ago.

Thomas I know that Steve Best has been doing this Elvis routine for at least 15 years. I once worked on a show with him at a very posh event at a Stately Manor House. It certainly wasn't what the audience was expecting..... but it made it even funnier for me.

cheers Neal.

I also know that Dwayne Laflin does an Elivis style act as well.

Hey Rob, I imagine that your event that you originally posted this for is long since over but for anybody looking for inspiration or ideas I just ran across this from Taylor Reed...
