Have to agree on Kioku I just got it and wow am I impressed with it.
However I havent performed it yet., so based on response........Tenyos squeeze play. For about 15 bucks you got a repeatable trick you could do all day long, time after time and never stop amazing people. I got some of my biggest reactions out of this trick and to be honest I never expected it I mean lets face it Tenyo products in the early nineties were rather childish but that was the niche they had cut for themselves. |

Skinner's 3 Card Monte
Invisible Deck Color Vision (non-gaffed, though I would love to have the recent gaffed version!)
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Hi all! Guess I'll jump in here with my fave:
Zone Zero- "a superb trick from Jerry Andrus whereby a 2 1/2 inch rubber ball is repeatedly made to appear and dissapear through a hole in a plastic board - Zone Zero. It is clean, effective, and best of all, you can show both sides of the board and both hands empty throughout the performance." I had mine made from an 11" by 17" black acrylic sheet. The plastics place put the 3" hole EXACTLY in the right place...perfect! Another favorite: Prohibition. In a word: INCREDIBLE! I performed this for our radio station's chief engineer. He still has that Jarritos bottle. He keeps telling me, "That's IMPOSSIBLE! You KNOW that don't you, Doug? IMPOSSIBLE!!!" Really, those two...I get more mileage...makes my coin work seem weak. Doug |

Category 1: A simple packet trick, like B'Wave, that I can carry around in my wallet to use any time and always delivers. I am finding the same thing to be true with Pocket Space.

Best values for under $50. 3 items that cannot be topped in my estimation for the price are: Invisible Deck, Swami Gimmick, and Shell game (mine are SFS and Scarab version).
If I were to agree with you. Then we would both be wrong. As of Apr 5, 2015 10:26 pm I have 880 posts. Used to have over 1,000

The under 50 buck tricks that have been great for me and my experience would include: Scotch & Soda, Lethal Tender, TT, Loops (and "Animated Miracles" book), Kolossal Killer, Pen Thru Bill, dove pan, Vanishing Bandanna, Jumbo B'Wave, Precious Metal, Mis-made flag. There are many others but these are the ones that come to mind (mix of close-up and parlor/stage) and that I've been using lately.
Over 50 bucks hmm, Appearing Cane and Better Baxt Newspaper Tear have had the most bang for the buck for me so far although I am hoping to be able to get "Excalibur" metal floating table from Losander. GlenD

Dream Aces by Gary Oullett. The routine isn't that hard to learn and it always packs a wallop. Shadow Coins is another my favorites.

I forgot to mention Mislead and the Crazy Man's Handcuffs by Ammar. These were both done on DC's shows, and both are easy to learn and cost next to nothing. He's said that Handcuff's (two rubber bands) had as much impact on the audience as one of his million dollar illusions.

Inexpensive usually goes over the best!
Color Monte or... Skinner Monte or... Mark Mason's Stuck Up Monte 2 Rubber Bands several quarters (improvised coin vanishes and appearances) A packet of Loops Cocktail napkins (for balls over the head) Word in a Million (Mark Mason) or alternatively AWAP (David Bui) And there has to be one that costs a little: Hopping Halves

And sorry, one more....
A dinner fork from a diner, Caféteria or other non-weighs-like-a-ton-of-bricks fork or spoon....

Red ball to Jumbo Square costs less than $5, and it gets a tremendous response from my audiences of all ages and all venues. I go through these so quick that I have to buy three at a time.

For me it's been Misled and the Invisible Deck. The ID is astounding as a name any card effect (i.e. without all the invisible hoopla).

"WOW" and Extractor get the most wow's for me. If I do Hitchkoh (spelling) Aces (Thanks to Darwin Ortiz, just love it) it does not even get a ripple. I must be doing it wrong, but really for some people it is too long a trick and the other two are quicker and a shocker to the audiance.
