For me this is the goal of Magic, to make it pure magic.
So little of our magic today is truly Magical!

You use the best, most deceptive method you can,
then you use the techniques of theatre to give it emotionally reality.

A levitation that is technically sound is expensive,
and much care has been put into every aspect of its design.

It is NOT the bells-and-whistles that make it good,
but how well it carries out the basic plot.

It is then up to the performer to bring life and magic to the method,
through careful planning and practice, staging, theme, and presentation.

Then the levitation (or suspension) become a miracle, not a trick.
The audience is pleased to be allowed to forget the puzzle
of discovering the method, they sit back and allow the wonder
to wash over them and become enchanted.

Well said, brainstorming is required and if one does not do this often, it is not as easy as it is said.
