The impressive part is the way she did not look like she was shooting for a record. No frantic running from station to station. Very polished presentation along with the feat itself. Well done!

Congratulations to you and Alina too, Lex
For members of the Café, Lex and Alina won first place in the preliminary rounds of the German Magic Championships last weekend - the first Quick Change act in Germany to be awarded such a prize. Lex and Alina will now go on to the Finals in 2008, and will be eligible to enter FISM in Beijing 2009 if placed. Fingers crossed. Quote:

She is wonderful, but I don't think you can say "forget David and Dania" Their quick change was more consistently effortless and magical. Of course they weren't trying to set a record, either... Many of her changes were breathtaking...

I worked with Nina & Nikolai at the Excalibur in Vegas and I have to say their Glitter change (not sure what to call it, Nikolai throws glitter up over Nina’s head and as it filters down her costume changes) well the change was incredible, Nikolai uses a fraction of the glitter I see others using. I must have watched it 20 times and it was pure magic. The most visually stunning effect I have seen on stage.

I saw them (Nina and Nikolai) there too! I fell in love with the illusion and tried unsuccessfully to reproduce anything remotely similar for the girls in my band. I purchased on-line products and books. Anything and everything. I'd heard that David and Dania were to produce a video. That won't happen
