This is hardly exposure! Lift Off for love? Like who on earth does this trick?
Magicians should really chill out where P&T are concerned.Besides it's their own effect! |

Lift Off as mentioned is their own, so really cant argue with them, plus it gives itself away before the clear boxes are even brought it.
I think Penn and Teller expose a lot of "magic" because they booth have deep roots in disproving people who claim they have real powers, I think P&T like to keep people reminded that everything is all an illusion. |

Every time I see them do lift off I have tears in my eyes from laughing! this is one of the funniest things P&T do. no real exposure here, but funny as heck

They're philosophy seems to be that if the secret is BETTER then the effect, they expose it, unless it is a secret used by other professionals. Lift Off, for instance, is theirs. Teller getting crushed by an 18-wheeler- theirs.
And, sometimes, when they expose things, they really don't. Watch the first clip. Where did the lemon come from? Where did the cigarette go at the end? They audience learnt nothing, except how complex magic can be. Ben

They also performed 'Blast Off' on America's Got Talent - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYTmEVFL_NA&feature=related
Penn and Teller expose some things, they don't expose others. They expose when the secret is more entertaining than the effect - and for me personally, that's what magic is all about.
