Can anyone help me locate an effect using an Oreo cookie. I saw this trick a couple of days ago and the effect is that you hand out a bowl of cookies, the magician taking the first one. You pull off the top cookie to show the cream inside. Replace the top cookie and twist and the cream disappears. Again the top cookie goes back on and the cream reappears. Everyones dream, endless cream in the Oreo.
I am looking to get my hands on one if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks, Yours in Magic, Carter ![]()

Greetings...
Maybe you saw something called "Moon Cookie" which is presented on "Dan Harlan Premium Blend Video Volume 4"... Joe |

I cannot stand to seperate the oreos. I eat them AS IS....is that ok with everyone?!

The effect described is not identical to "Moon Cookie" but could certainly be done by the same method. In "Moon Cookie" I eat the cream away a little at a time, like the full moon waning to half, then quarter, then new. The cookie halves are placed together and the cream returns. A full moon again.
BTW, for Astinus, I also prefer them unopened, but I have to dunk! --Dan Harlan |

Thank you all for your help on this. I will look for the MOON COOKIE and see if it is the same.

I believe A1-Multimedia used to sell this item but I forgot who created it and the name of it. I will try to find it.

There use to be some effects on the market with Oreo cookies, but I can’t call a name now. A few years back many magicians were promoting Oreo’s in the supermarkets. Unlock The Magic. Maybe one of those could help.

Tom,
You live in Mississippi and I live in Alabama. Folks in the free world have no idea how much trouble doing Oreo magic would get us into here. LOL! We would need a very good vanishing act. Mark, CONGRATULATIONS! You just hit your 500th posts! Carter, All jokes aside, sometimes you can get a giant OREO cookie magnet in the housewares section of the stores. Yes, I said "magnet". Scheme!
