Hey guys, I'm sure some of you here are both magicians and jugglers, This is the query, Has anyone of you done a juggling and multiplying balls routine at the same time? Two balls, then three ball juggling, then four. Get the idea?? Has anyone done this before?? And if you have, waht presentational ideas would you have??
I'm hoping to come up with such a routine for my Kids Shows. PS: wat size balls are best?? I'm thinkin of getting Fakini Balls... |

I've made balls disappear with a topit.
I have also produced balls (using my own method) You could do multiplying ping pong balls and do some mouth juggling with them and then do an endless production of balls from mouth... With most juggling balls, you wouldn't be able to do a billiard ball style manipulation routine...too big, although not impossible... |

Fakini has like 2.5 inch balls I think. Any ideas on whether it'll work??

Only a 7 foot NBA basketball player would be able to manipulate 2 1/2" juggling balls.

Find, beg, borrow or steal a video of Topper Martin's juggling act.
FISM winners Francis Norbet (sic) and Jason Latimer do some stuff with very large balls. They look like silicone juggling balls. You can find small silicone juggling balls..just Google. I do a routine where 1 ball vanishes into my hat (a gag), I then produce 2 more separately from the hat via pocket/body loads. Some billiard ball moves translate well into juggling balls..some don't. I combine billiard balls and jugglin'. I know there is an american guy in japan, who used to do billird balls and juggling- if he still does - I don't know.
combining billiard balls and juggling is not easy and it takes research- It is tricky to get rid of the blobblob ( you know what I mean) for the juggling, but I found ways to cover this. I do two simple vanishes at the start just with one plain Fakini and before I juggle/bounce 5 balls I do a color change. The act took me a year and it is a speaking act and I tell some jokes...just a months ago I finished the act What I use are special pockets, 2 ballholders, 5 Fakini, 2 dube's pink and green, two blobblobs (you know what I mean) |

Actually, you will probably be the third person in the world to accomplish this. I just know of this American in japan through FAKINI himself. I was trying to find a way to develop a ball juggling act with a twist for quite some time (since late 2000/2001). And then last year I had this idea of multyplying balls and juggling and bounce juggling... Just had this idea last year in October.I assume I could add link in a month or so but right now I need to perform the act (and of course practice it) a couple of times... just made some major changes. Good luck.
Bye the way, Tarr's book helped me... |

Dear Kyle Ravi,
the youtube act from Sensei Strange is a typical Sphere act (atypical is the outfit- which is also not commercial at all). Back to the subject, I will try to find out among jugglers (jugglingdatabase) if anyone does bouncejuggling and multipying balls with Fakinis- but that I doubt very much. But I think it is worth a try. Cheers, mika |

Funny I am performing that non-commercial act tonight!
what happened to being an artist? Kyle asked nothing about commercial. Multiplying billard balls does not have to use a gimmick. Often in history it did not. I have done a version with a gimmick, but silicone will never look as good as acrylic. In this version I cut many of the vanish - productions due to three inch glowing balls are tricky on the angles. Much Love - SS |

Waht ever it is, SS I still think ur act is good. Its apart from the rest. Good work. I appreciate it.

Sensei Strange, that's one of the most beautiful acts I've ever see. Combining juggling and magic and raising both to the level of art. That's a rare gift.
