I have a few items, that I need to post about but todays is -
I havea Card Spider that I know it is at least 20 years old (I was given it when the gentleman passed away in the 80's) I would happly bet it is at least 40 years old or more.
How do I find out who made it or any info on it?

Thanks,
Larry

You just show it to me. I think I know the spider you're talking about. It was from the Harmon Baker collection. I didn't get the spider, but did get most of the other stuff, P&L Vanishing Alarm Clock, P&L Penetrating Glass...lots of items were in the boxes, all the parts and pieces just took an extensive search.

Take a pic and email it to me.

Yes steve it was from the Baker collection.
I have quite a few things.
I was even given some boxes of his stuff from Louie at the fun shop.
I will post a pic.

Is this the one where you spin the web and the spider catches the card for you?

Card slowly appears between the spider's legs as you spin the (big black octagonal) web. That's the one.

Could this possibly be the one manufactured by Colonel Shaw, of the old Mazda Magic Co., in Illinois? Maybe, but I didn't recall that the Colonel's version of the web needed to be spun. I could be wrong (for the first time).

That is what the card spider does, Elaine.
