Dear Transmaster, what I meant was that many NLP-patterns are specific for the English language. Is that also the case with your DVD's or can I simply translate the commands into Dutch and the woman will fall in my lap?

Just kidding, you know what I mean, I never was a Ross Jeffries fan in the first place Smile

Language is a languge...no matter where you are...Swahily, Japanesse, etc...

just use your head and think the Pattern in your own native tounge

I manage to suceed doing all kind of Trance work and NLP pattern in my own native language....both for Clinical and Performance

now what's your excuse of not making woman fall in to your lap? Smile

Let's keep it at limiting beliefs and the fact that I'm still a little AFC, if you know what I mean!

Hi Patrick, the patterns are NOT language specific. It is easily adapted to any language. I am bi-lingual,and have traveled all over the world (been to Netherlands 8 times). You will have no problem getting the ladies to drop into your lap in Amesterdam.... LOL

Unlike NLP, the scripts are highly flexible.

After watching the first of this 2 DVD set, I couldn't bring myself to complete the entire viewing. Alto the material seems to be very workable and the instructors very knowledgable, I was so bothered by the unprofessional appearance of this product that I just couldn't finish watching it. To wit: Mic stand obstructed the view of the pad and easel, volunteers were man handled and the sweat covered armpit of Mr Cerbone was just too much for me to handle. Almost forget to mention the hole in the armpit of the shirt of Mr Cerbone as well. And the venue!! Well, that's another story. Remember, this is JUST MY OPINION.

The venue was chosen to demonstrate SpeedTrance is quite workable in your average American town. Unfortunatly, this is really what most of America is really like. Two venues actually, both in semi-rural Kansas. If you can do Speedtrance here, you can do it anywhere. As to your other issues, your opinions are certainly valid, however you are in the minority. Not everyone will respond the same to every product. I certainly wish you well, and appreciate your feedback concerning your impression that "the material seems to be very workable and the instructors very knowledgable".

In fairness to Mr Nongard, after reading my last post, he offered to exchange the item for another. I thanked him for his kind and generous offer but stated that it would not be necessary.

I watched these videos along with others Mr Nongard has put out and enjoyed them. They are not flashy or Ellusionist style produced but they are are of a class room feel which this kinda of subject needs. The bar that they perfromed in was not a vegas casino, but then again I don't perform all the time in a vegas casino either, (although I wish I did). I think they are a good source to learn from and look forward to more of his releases. And I would like to add that
Nongard is a great guy to do buisness with . Ryan

Thanks to you whom have enjoyed the video. To some whom seem to be having a difficult time, I am a bit bewildered. Most of what's on the DVD's that I am performing, I've invented, and in just a handful of cases, reinvented. Many people have told me I'm crazy sharing these techniques, I think we all need to evolve up and these should live on, after I am no longer, hopefully, many, many decades from now, LOL

to make things work smoother and better. Yes, we did shoot this in a studio in places, but also in some rather challenging environments, like Kansas watering holes, some people went right into deep trance, even though they had been drinking. Tranced by a non-local, from 1000 miles away, whom had only secods to build rapport and get them out.

My passionate desire is for those of you whom are using the DVD to try out what I am seeking to impart, as much of what I'm doing there is what just might very well turn out to be, the next phase of what the Hypnosis profession is going to look like in the next 20 to 50 years. That's not my opinion, that's the opinions of some people whom have been in practice for 4 to 5 or more decades and what they are saying.
Time to kick this up several notches. Live the dream!

This sounds great!

But, I'm just curious how long it would take me to master this. And if you could do it in a noisy bar or it must be done in a quieter area. Also can you do the usual hypnosis stuff once they're under -- forget their names, make the women fall in love with you --whatever.

Best,

Al

Some people grasp it in days. Some in hours. No doubt some people will advise against it because of the posibility of causing problems with hypnosis. But the facts are you can learn how to hypnotise swiftly - assuming you have a head for health, safety and the well being of others then there is nothing wrong with diving in. Go and get some good training that covers these aspects of the art. Once you learnt to hypnotise the other 'stuff' you mention like amnesia and errrr, making women fall in love with you is a natural progression.

This video assumes a basic knowledge of hypnosis, but is easy to master. And much of the video was filmed in a noisy bar, so you can do Speedtrance anywhere. Most people who watch the video report having success immediatly upon finishing, and can build confidence and skill from that point...

Thanks guys,

Actually I've used self-hypnosis (for confidence etc.)for twenty years so it shouldn't take me too long to learn these techniques.

I know, I know, new user to the hypnosis page, but is this dvd suitable for beginners? I've searched on the forums, but it seems like the opinions vary where to start...

I plan on getting certified in hypnosis because I'm in school to be a Marriage and Family Therapist, and figured it would be up my resume a bit.

If this isn't the place to start where is?
Gotta love the newbie questions. =)

Congrats on the MFT program, I am actually an LMFT so that is my background too. This DVD is a great place to start learning about hypnosis, but it does assume that the viewer has a remedial level of psychology/hypnotic knowledge. This DVD is not part of a certification program but will be very fascinating to you with a psych background. And, although the focus of this DVD is entertainment, there are a lot of practical ideas for clinical hypnosis on the DVD and they are pointed out as the DVD progresses.

Review -
Speed Trance - Instant Hypnotic Inductions for Stage, Street and Clinical Hypnosis.
By John Cerbone and Richard K Nongard.

Recently I watched this two DVD set and have found it to be a really useful and valuable addition to my hypnotic library. As an experienced hypnotist who has done stage, street and thousands of hours of clinical work I watched the preview for the product online and must admit wondered if there would be much I could learn from the DVD but after giving it my full attention have found plenty of good stuff in there.

Nongard and Cerbone demonstrate a wide variety of rapid inductions (possibly 10 or more) most of which are in some way original to them. They reiterate over and over the importance of making use of eye fixation, confusion, overload and other hypnotic techniques and encourage you to experiment and personalise the inductions. They explain them, demonstrate them in a broken down fashion and include footage of them used live. They also indicate how they can be adapted and used in a clincial as well as performance setting.

What was refreshing was the emphasis on health and safety - simple tips that if you use them ensure the well being of everyone is taken care of. Also they are not afraid to give examples of how things can and have gone wrong in their early days of hypnotising and what they do now to prevent you making the same mistakes.

The bonus feature is a complete one man stage hypnosis show with multiple skits. If you can't do rapid inductions after watching and absorbing this take up tap dancing.

All in all a quality product and good value.

Yes this DVD is the best I brougth in years, top of the shelf stuff. I have been practicing hypnotism for about 3 months before buying Richard DVD and I instantly hypnotised dozens of people much more easily, while making the induction faster.

It's really a good DVD and I recommend whomever do clinical or stage hypnotism, as well as begginers in hypnotism. Great tips on security, fun to watch richard and john are very funny at times.

People think that people under 18 years of age can't hypnotise people, I don't believe in it anymore :

(And no I'm not paid for Nongard to do publicity Smile)
