Hi, guys. I want to do Sankey's Mr. Clean Coins Across, which uses 3 ungimmicked coins. After this effect, I would like to vanish these 3 coins without sleeving. Any suggestions?

Do you want to vanish them clean? That is, ditch them without sleeving? Or vanish in the hands, as in Hanging Coins? I always use my own routine called Digestible Coins from my coin book to vanish three coins one at a time. You might try using a coin clip that has been altered by soldering or cementing a little something, as in the gaff part of the Hoo Coin. If you don't understand, then PM me.

Hi, I want to vanish them so I end up clean. It should be the end of the coin routine, which is like this:
3 coins are produced Mr. Clean Coin Across The 3 Coins are vanished, so now I can go into a card trick.... At the moment, I have only this in mind: Slow Mo Coins (Front Row Sankey) - It is the one with the pop-up move. Yes, I want to ditch them without sleeving (breast pocket, other pockets....not something like the top of my head or the Goshman Pinch to end with). |

If you want a really great way, then look into Spydur's version of Elbow, Knee, and Neck that I loved. If you want a method that will take a long time (and I mean long time) to get down but is highly effective, then look into Coins On Edge.

Gelbepfeife,
I have a routine I call "3 for Real" where I produce 3 coins and then vanish them one at a time, a complete vanish of each one with no sleeving. It can actually be done with shirt off and short pants. The only thing is that the routine is unpublished for the time being. Good luck finding one. peace. mano. |

I have seen Mano's effect, and it will be available on his upcoming DVD Mano's UNLEASHED.

Psst....a little bird just dropped something in my ear...then it slid down my collar and down my shirt.....
Anyway, just wanted to say that my Oxy Clean Coin Routine from my lecture notes is one of the cleanest 3 coin vanishes you'll ever execute without being tried, convicted, and burned at the stake as a witch.

I second the Oxy Clean Coin Routine, although it doesn't conform to your standards. I would say, why not vanish them any way you want? And if you're going to do a card trick afterwards, then just keep them palmed and go to your pocket. Ditch the coins and pull out the cards...

There's a 3 coin vanish in Trifectas. But Gadabout is good, too. End clean.
But here's my thoughts: Back pocket = Card case First Vanish Right hand retention, and drop in breast pocket. (Find your good timing to ditch it.) Maybe hold the fan of 2, wave, vanish, replace fan to left hand, while waving with right hand (ditch) trying to vanish it but can't. or Ditch the coin while waving with fan on the closed fist. 2nd Vanish I think 2 ways. While waving (ditch), pull back top coin with thumb behind the bottom coin. Then right hand take, then shuttle, then shuttle back to right hand. Use some flying shuttle action. Classic Palm left hand and take coin from right hand. or Wave, but fail to vanish it. Do 2BGone from Cultural Xchange 2, but no ditch, and Classic Palm left hand and take coin from right hand. 3rd Vanish Show last coin with left hand Malini Subtlety. Perform a Spider Vanish. Then, turn body sideways (right side front) to produce the coin from left knee. As you are doing this, left hand ditches coin in pocket and steals the card case from back pocket. Display coin, classic palm retention into left hand, and it becomes a card case. Hand them the deck while you pocket the last coin. I know these are thoughts from an amateur. Hoped it helped. |

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I like Kenner's Long Gone Silver.

I have a routine where I vanish 3 coins to the same pocket, one at a time, during the course of a routine. Very handy for a re-set to do the same routine later without having to pluck coins from various pockets!! FYI - it is essentially the same routine as you are asking about here, performed in jeans and t-shirt.
Maybe some of the following effects may be worth looking at - * Elbow Vanish (Other than the shoulder, where else could your hand be naturally whilst rubbing the coin into the elbow? Ideal for 1st or 3rd coin.) * Coin through Pocket (Ideal for coin 2 of 3.) * Shuttle pass ala Miser's Dream - placing "all" the coins you produce in the back pocket!! (Ideal for coin 2 of 3.) * Gary Kurtz - Misty Like a Dream - Using coin wrapped in paper (coins vanish in a ball of fire). Needs preparation, so less impromptu. (Ideal for last coin.) * Watch Vanish These aren't all the ones I use, but may give you some pointers. Whilst he doesn't teach the vanishes I use specifically, Bob Fitch's French lecture has some great ideas that I adapted from the jacket (that he uses) to jeans, which I more commonly wear. Some thoughts for you may be: *If you can steal a coin from somewhere, chances are you can replace it in the same place under similar cover!! *Would using a spectator to look at/hold the coins free you up to vanish them one at a time? You could try learning Sankey's Mexican Jumping Coins, as well. (1 less coin to vanish. ) |

Use Gary Kurtz ending in one of his coin routines where you wrap it in flash paper and all 3 coins vanish. You end clean. Could be found in his International Magic video.

Nah, it's the Tamariz "Double Crossing the Gaze" switch.
It's a good solution, but you gotta play with fire. And who desn't like that?

Well in Bobo's he suggests using flash paper for the ending. Also going to the pocket for the match ends you clean and if talking is a problem, there are ways to address that.
Where can I find info on Tamariz' move to see the difference? |
