I just got the one I had custom ordered. Fits me fine and I expect to get good use of it. I work 8-10 nights a week at hotels in Orlando. Never did like bulging pockets or carrying a case or bag. On a 1-10 score I give it 8.5 cards up.

Completely off the point but as a BMW driver I just thought I'd add this. Before I bought my car I test drove various ones. Honda, Lexus, Mercedes and BMW. All the models I was looking at would have cost me roughly the same (some had a bit more spec than others.) In the end I chose the BMW. It had enough spec that I wanted and IMO was BY FAR the superior car in both build quality and more importantly to drive. Is it a status symbol? No, more 3 series BMWs are sold in the UK than any other car of it's class (e.g. Ford Mondeo, Vauxhall Vectra etc). Is it the best car I've ever owned? Unquestionably!
Would I buy a custom made holder form Joel? Absolutely, when my needs dictate that I need one. (And I probably will soon). Some people write absolute tosh sometimes!

If I had a need for an item similar the the holster offered by HCH I would, without hesitiation, buy it.

Unbeknownst to me my wife got me one for my birthday (which is today) and found that I was looking for one by going thru my history on the web (better stop going to those other sites) Any way got it today and while I havent used it in the real world I can say that I LOVE IT. With a little use I can see that it will be very easy to get things in and out of. I already have it loaded and wear it around the house and practice. With a little forethought I will have my cabaret show down to that and a breifcase. My wife is also cheap (frugal as she calls it) and took the design to a leather worker and he quoted her 375-400 for one and if she ordered 100 he would do it for 280. I called Joel after recieving it to thank him for such a fine product and he has told me of the new improvement of 5 grommets to hang stuff on.
I have no connection with this product other than a VERY satisfied reciepiant of one. NUMS |

Quick update...
I am trying to make the changes I discussed on the HCM website. Slowly but surely things are getting done. I just wanted to let you all know that I have made some of the changes in the product pages and the FAQ. I have not been able to update the photos of the Original and Ricochet, but there is a new holster up which has photos of the grommets I discussed here previously. Hopefully in the coming weeks the site will be more informative, and some of the questions everyone has should be answered better by the information on the site. That's all for now! Thanks everyone. HCM is fantastic. But let's start with the customer service. Joel was fantastic. He listened to my needs and gave me constant updates. He being a performer understood what a performer needs. Ok, the product. The product is well made. I am a big guy and it fits well. It does take time getting in and out of the devise. I am wearing it now and forgot I had it on, so I guess I am getting use to it. If you are a serious worker them HCM is for you

How does a holster type rig sit on slim guys (without huge lats to hide it in front of)? Does it bulge much the same as a pocket?

I've been using the Ricochet since last spring and really like it. As a physician who does at least 20 "shows" a day, its very comfortable to wear and makes things easily accessible. I generally wear a "fun" t-shirt to work covered by a retro-style bowling shirt. Also, as a D.O. who still performs a fair amount of spinal manipulation in his practice, I'm able to perform all of my mobilizations without feeling restricted by the holster. I've extremely pleased with my purchase.
For times when I simply want to travel "light," I use: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/searc......=5349996

I went ahead and posted some pictures of me wearing the holster in my office. Go to the bottom of this page: http://www.medicine-in-motion.com/magic.htm
I forgot to mention that I also occasionally use Frank Starsinic's Strolling Pouch (from the Ambitious Card). Also, a great product (top quality, easy on/off)!

I received the Original Holster back in June, but have found that I've become too accustomed to my fanny pack set up. So, I have reluctantly decided to sell mine. You can find it in the "For Sale" section.
PM for details. Brian |

Well, either he's ignoring me by not responding to emails and phone calls (which leads me to believe that he doesn't want to deal with the unsatisfied customer issue) or he's sick, in the ospital, on vacation, or otherwise out of phone/email range (which would be silly and poor business, since he already knows I'm having problems with his product).
So, does anyone know where Joel Broock from High Caliber Magic is? It's been months... Lee |

Dustin, I've read these three pages of posts, and while you pointedly and without subtlety make some valid points, I have arrived at the conclusion that you come across like an orifice of a derriere with the people skills of an interrogator at Guantanamo Bay.
Be nicer. Joel, you have a remarkable product that I am happy to own. Thank you for sharing your wonderful craftsmanship with this crazy (and often ungrateful) community. |

Hello,
Very old post but some one might know where to get a holster to carry close up props? If you have one for sale? Thanks Nickoli |
