This looks very interesting. Looks like they JUST released it, so I don't know if anyone has one yet?
https://vault2.secured-url.com:443/jbtv/......?id=1817 From the JB Magic newsletter ad: J B Magic Exclusive. We think this is one of the hottest effects in years. When I saw this effect we signed up a deal immediately to be the UK exclusive distributor. You have to see these bags to believe both the effect and quality of them. Every bag is individually made by an electronics expert. The bags have 3 different settings, manuel, variable timer and infrared. Each setting will allow 14 lights to appear one at a time at the top of the bag then visually tumble down inside the bag. Manuel allows the lights to appear while you are holding the bag. Infrared everytime you wave your hand near the bag a light appears. Variable Timer lights appear every few seconds in the bag while you are nowhere near the bag. Perfect for stand up, children's shows or cabaret. Using a red d'lite you pluck a bright red lite from thin air. The light appears and vanishes at will. Finally toss the light into the bag. The light shows through the semi transparent frosted bag, then visually drops down inside the bag (this looks amazing). When the bag is full any time you wish you blow in the bag and all the lights instantly vanish. Top quality bag and craftmanship. We will have these in limited numbers so do not miss out on the 1st batch. highest recommendation, High-tech magic.

This product is by Jam Magic in the US (where it costs about half the price if you translate back from quid to $US). I have one and find it quite D'liteful in general (Andre Hagen started a thread on it in Little Darlings, I believe).

Hi Guys,
I am glad you like the Miser's Pro. We have 2 versions on my website the regular and the pro. Mark has to sell them for a bit more because of the high cost of shipping and customs charges in the UK. I advise anyone over seas to order from Mark. He's a great guy, very reputable dealer and I am honored to have him as my exclusive UK distributor. In the US you are welcome to order from me or you can order from Mark (JB Magic). Check out our other electronic products at http://www.jammagic.com. For Better Magic, Dave....jam magic |

Should this effect be done in a room that is dimly lit? If it performed in a regular lit room, would the lights still be clearly seen or will they be difficult to see?

We have had great success in almost any lighting situation. The lights in the bag are very bright. I along with others have used it on stage under stage lighting conditions.

I purchased the Miser's Delight Pro from Mark Mason when he was in Michigan for a lecture. The audience love it. I give it all A's. I also use the D'light V5 to go with it. It comes with an extra bag.

I just received the misers delight pro version and it is one great electronic device. If you have the d'lite and are not using it you will if you get the misers delight pro. What a great item at a resonable price. David Mitchell is a great person to deal with and he stands behind his products. I have been playing with this ever since it arrived. Unbelievable quality. This item could be double the price and still be a bargain!

I just received miser's delight remote. I didn't get a delight thumb tip with the set has any one got the set. It said you get the set ready to perform I think I read it right.I do like the way it works.

Fred,
I checked the website and it says "D'Lites sold separately" . D'Lites are easy enough to get and many performers have a set, or two or three. You won't be disappointed in the audience reaction to this item. Plus, it's downright FUN to play with!! As stated by previous posts - This is a BARGAIN. I just called to order my second unit. This is such a popular routine I want to make sure I have a backup. Steve |

I had seen the Miser's Delight ProX at Barry's Magic Shop in Rockville, Maryland and got it in the fall. This is not the same as the 10-light Jam Magic unit, but has 14 lights and uses an infrared proximity switch. I believe it is the same as the unit sold by JB Magic in the UK.
I also had gotten some of the new, more intense D'Lites when Rocco came though town lecturing. (I use the various colors of D'Lites for holiday strolling, picking lights off the Christmas trees, etc.) The unit is well-made and shows great care and thought in design. The bag is a small, white translucent "frosted" shopping bag with string handles, that looks like a high-class gift bag from a department store. The circuit board is on foam core spacers that keep the lights behind the center line of the bag, making the lights "project" even bigger against the front of the bag. The entire unit, including the two AA batteries and one or two "D'lites" (D'Lites sold separately) packs into a small box about the size of a large hardcover book that tucks nicely into a typical suitcase table or magician's case. You can get more details from the ad, which is accurate in every respect. This is a great prop that enables you to turn the D'Lite visual into an entire routine. In a show, it makes a great opener or closer. I use it as an opener, set to music, and it affords the opportunity to walk out into the audience, which is often a good idea during a show. It presents a visual that people haven't seen and don't expect, and you can use it to create a magical atmosphere. But now I'll tell you a great way to END it! Barry Taylor also sells a very small, very bright String of Lights From Mouth, which is a string of 12 very bright red LEDs, battery-operated and small enough to fit into a TT! So now you can combine the "emptying out" function of the Miser's Delight ProX bag and produce a string of lights from your hand, your mouth, etc. I can only tell you I've been doing this since the fall and in all of my holiday shows (even the Hanukkah shows, with appropriate music) and it plays VERY VERY strongly. BTW, the String of Lights from Mouth plays as a great ending by itself with the D'Lites, whether for parlor or strolling (great in a restaurant). I found this out by accident one time when I got distracted while setting up my show and set up the Miser's Delight with the circuit board upside down (and useless). I just went into the audience pulling lights out and then ended with the string. The string of lights is very small and the wires are thin and require a bit of care when loading into the TT. There is a knack to making a spiral that doesn't put stress on the joins at each LED or at the battery/switch unit. Be very careful and don't load it in a hurry, and it should last for years. While some of the big box retailers, such as Target, sell battery-operated strings of LED Christmas lights, the ones I have seen have very large battery packs and will not come close to fitting into a TT. Funny story: Last weekend, I was doing a Korean first birthday party, which are often very big parties with hundreds of people. When I set up, found to my horror that I had no D'Lites with me! And then it happened. I noticed that ALL of the children had plastic party favors: necklaces, broaches and rings and THEY ALL HAD FLASHING RED LEDS!! Man, oh man, did I freak them out that night! Cheers, Eric |

The bag with 10 lights called the Miser's Delight is the first version (and still available ) that JAM MAGIC introduced. JAM MAGIC later introduced the Miser's Delight Pro and eventtually the ProX before Mark Mason began marketing it. As stated in earlier posts the Miser Delight/Pro and ProX products were a collaborated effort of Klaus Peckhaus and Dave Mitchell before Mark Mason was given permission to sell them. As Mark has stated in emails he is neither the inventor, creator, or manufacturer of these products. He, like many other dealers, is just a salesman for these products. They all are wonderful effects and available from JAM MAGIC, Mark Mason, or your local dealer.
