I was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction to find some intense music. I'm almost looking for something along the lines of an instrumental.
*Think along the lines of some Samurai soldiers preparing to fight in a movie, lol. Absolutely any ideas are welcome. Drums, flutes, etc. Anything goes. TIA All the Best, magicianguy4life |

If you know the right sharity site (or pm me) there's the opening theme to THE LAST VALLEY.
Or there's almost anything from any of the CONAN movies.

Basil Poledouris did all the music for the Conan films. Might check for anything by him.

The only two pieces I can think of right out of the gate are Dueling Banjos and Classical Gas.
A really great orchestra piece is John Williams' battle over the Death Star from the original Star Wars movie, which is now labeled Episode IV. That one really gets me excited every time I hear it.

If you can find a copy of the music score to the movie, Psycho, by Bernard Herrmann, you might find something there that fits the bill.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

You might also want to look up music from the animae series "Inoyashi"

Kashmir - by Led Zep - although that one was hijacked by Puff Daddy.
Mars (god of war) - from Holst's planets. That track really gets you in the mood for a fight. It was used in the soundtrack to Greystoke, Legend of Tarzan, if I recall correctly.

I'm partial to "The Ecstacy of Gold," from the soundtrack to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
"Torture doesn't work" lol
Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley. "...as we reason and love, we are able to hope. And hope enables us to resist those things that would enslave us." |
