Over the past few years I have purchased a number of gaff coins from ebay and magic "fire" sales. I have several that are fascinating but I do not know what the typical usage would be.
1. Chinese shell with Morgan and jumbo penny C/S inside. 2) Johnson Chinese shell with Centavo and Kennedy half C/S inside 3) Kennedy half over English Penny over Centavo Kennedy half C/S Can anybody help on these?
The real magic is family!

Number 3 sounds like a two copper one silver with Kennedy shell, number 2 is a copper/silver/brass set, and number one sounds like a copper silver brass also. If you need a usage for them, PM me, I can point you in the right direction, but if you search these items in teh Café you'll find a lot of info.
The basic use for these gaffs are for transpos between a silver coin and two copper or transpos between a silver coin and a copper and brass coin. The transpos with the copper/silver/brass sets are even amplified by the fact that one of the coins has a hole in ti. The two copper one silver set has other possibilites besides transpos. I know Dave Neighbors has a bunch of rountines in print. He's a member, ask him.
