I got scared doing the rola bola elevated with four large catfood cans on stage- height wise and it seems wobbly- even though I did it in one street show. And after the Show Simon Lovell, who saw the whole show yelled at me about that...and said I should have rehearsed it before on stage of the Shoho Playhouse... ( even though he was drunk when he said I had to agree with him to the rehearsing on stage)...i decided to use two huge danish cookie cans...it seems safer to me...by the way-anyone seen rola-bola with high heels- just a question...

Nevertheless I enjoyed the videos on youtube.... very cool

Dear All,

Somebody told me about a posting here and I think it deserves a response to Mika.

1) I went to her show and was not at all drunk. That she would say that here is really weird. It seems to simply want to put a bad impression of me at her show. I was actually there with a girlfriend of mine after having had dinner.

2) I did not shout, I simply offered what I thought was professional advice (though I can get quite passionate about doing so!). I've been around the block a few times in this business and often charge high fees for such advice. I gave Mika advice for free. If she didn't like the advice then it is her choice to ignore it of course. My own theatre show (in the same venue) has been running for nearly three years though so my advice may be worth listening to.

3) After the show I met a friend of Mika's who had turned up from Germany. Mika had gone so I lent the friend my cell phone (hers wouldn't work) in order to call Mika. I then walked her and her luggage down the road to organize a cab for her. Hardly the actions of a "drunk" I hope you'll agree. I then went home to do some writing work that was due the next day.

Needless to say I shall be rather less freely giving of advice in the future if this is the kind of re-payment that I get.

This is not at knock at Mika - simply setting the record straight here.

Ah well, back to reality.

I was shocked to see Simon Posting in this section. Simon if you do check back here I would love to know if you could put a spin on rola bola what would it be? You may not have anything at all that comes to mind but hey its worth asking as you do put unique spins on standard fair.

Mika what happned, did you fall? What was it that tipped everyone off that you were uncomfortable?
Also somthing I learned from personal experience is to not air dirty laundry in a public forum. Anything you say here will be recorded for years at the very least.

Assuming everything you said is 100% true it doesn't negate the fact that you yourself admit he was right in his statements. I have been called out by a performer far greater than myself once and it does sting.

So when things rub you the wrong way deal with them in the moment and with the individual you have issue with but other than that it is in your best intrest to play it close to your chest.

On this year's Royal Variety Performance circus artiste Danny Daniel performed his Rola Bola routine... I think its a perfect example of how impressive stacks are to an audience.

Yeah that's a good performance. My GF thinks his wobbling on the boards is a bit overkill and makes it look cheesey but I like it.

Were you part of the big show during oct. If so were you doing pre show stuff?

No, in October I was on tour with Circus Maximus, I filmed a movie (with ultra hot Kate Beckensale) called "nothing but the truth". I produced a huge mall grand opening (starring Gena Shvartsman-juggler, Stee an elibeth Lough-clowns,HalfDan-World record sword swallower, and more).

So no I was not on tour then.(I was feeding my already big ego!)

Tell your ego no...lol I was there and woundered if we were in the same place at the same time! I thought back and remembered seeing a guy do cigar boxes and a few days ago thought huh maybe it was Larry.

I was lucky enough to win tickets to the big show 2 days before my b-day. Made me pretty happy. The show was diffrent but still good.

Sounds like your all over the place! Tell your ego good job!
