I remember a sitcom where the braindead character was told he'd be visiting a foreign country. Later, as proof of the prophecy, he exclaimed; "Look! I found a Candian dime... I'm going to Canadia!"

What is with the turkey? I thought you all would eat a slab of whale blubber, some salmon, maybe baked baby seal...you know, Canadian food. Well, happy holidays to you. In two weeks.....Canadian Christmas.

Hmmmm... Just found this interesting fact. Canadians celebrated Thanksgiving some 50 years before Americans did. I cry foul! American Thanksgiving is a Knockoff of Canadian Thanksgiving. Call the Holiday Ethics Police! I'm wondering if the first American Turkey was served in a bad Origami knockoff.

Actually the Canadian Thanksgiving is a continuation of a European harvest festival and they debate if the first one was when some fellow survived a trip to New Foundland around 1578 or those that are, this year, called First Nations People (much better than aboriginies that Canada called them a few years ago) which claimed they had a thanksgiving prior to that. I vote for the continuation of a Euro festival because Canada, having never fought for independance and still clinging to both England and France like Criss Angel before a stunt is likely to also cling to Euro holidays. Interestingly they have a six day period in which to chomp down the turkey etc.. It should be noted my least favorite holiday is Thanksgiving and I have no use for pilgrims or puritans in general.

There's always something to be thankful for Santa.
Like Puppies. Puppies are delicious.

Can't we all just get along and Celebrate "America Day" it'll be a mixture of all the Canadian holidays, just you'll remember why you should be thankful.
