I had heard of doing it blind folded. But: With one hand? With your feet? What's next? With your teeth? With a blood alcohol level of 2.5?

Of course, I've done other things blind folded, with one hand, with my feet, with my teeth, and with a blood alcohol level of 2.5--but NOT A RUBIK'S CUBE!

I admire these people.

(Though perhaps they should admire me.)

I remember when the Rubik's Cube first came out and solving them was all the rage. Couldn't believe the number of books that were published on this one topic alone.

Can't help but wonder what other stunts or records were done/set with that magical little square.

I still can't do it.

It is actually very easy if you memorize a few simple formulas and look at the cube while doing it but the way the pro's do it is just sick. As far as know the unofficial workd record is just over 10 seconds and I saw the same guy do it on Taiwanese television in 20 odd seconds but with one hand.

Too much work... It comes solved.

Speaking of solving the cube while blindfolded. Richard Osterlind does just that on the last set of dvd's that L&L put out out on Richard's items. The routine to me was a bit too long for my tastes but it was a good idea.

Let me just say that it is possible but difficult to fix the cube without looking although it is easier to do it blindfolded. I have done that and it takes me about 2 minutes. Too long to be entertaining though for my taste.

Swap two adjacent color stickers, mix it up, and watch the fun!
