Reading Genii magazine this month I discovered that his show " The Magician " premiered on Oct. 2nd 1973. Bill Bixby died in 1993. My wife and were married on Oct. 2nd, 1993. How's that for a strange coincidence?
Does anyone else remember that show fondly?

Yes, I remember it. Coincidentally, I came across the pilot episode ("The Manhunters") just last night. Funny to see you bring it up today.

Lyndel,
Are your DVD's of the homemade variety? I don't think they ever put the show out on tape or DVD officially. Papa David, I love that montage! It brings back fond memories of my tossing playing cards around the house. Not to mention smoke bombs in the backyard. Boy am I glad I never confused the two!

I remember quite well The Magician show!
Several years ago when I was about 10 while in the car with My mom she was driving up Las Vegas blvd. We noticed a Paramount truck on one of the cross streets, film crews in the area etc.. Anyway a car drove by us with a camera mounted on the side of it. We couldn't tell who was driving only that it was a convertable. and that something was being filmed. Well when the episode of the Magician that was shot in Vegas aired we realized that we had been right there when they were filming it! Randy |

Randy,
Wow! If you can think of 37 years ago as only several years! Good for you.

How's that for a strange coincidence?" Classic New Yorker cartoon--radio announcer says: "Today's broadcast is brought to you by the makers of PASFO. That's PASFO. I watched some of the clips on YouTube. I'd forgotten how flatly directed the series was. No wonder Bill got into direction, he probably thought; "sheesh! I can do better than this!" And he was right!
