Lets see if you guys or gals can tackle the real tough stuff... ie: Obscure so that google pitches a fit...

As a Test...there was a TV show in the 1950's "Slick Trick Quigley, Private Eye".

Q: What was the name of his sidekick?

Post if you know or have a clue. Otherwise you're a pee pee hat.

If you get the answer, you post next Q.

I do have to pee.

As a mattter of fact I will.
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.

The show was actually called "Star Trek". Mr. Spock was the side kick.

Wow, that is super hard...
I can't even find evidence that such a show ever existed.
Are you sure you didn't hallucinate this show due to your insomnia? Smile

I found one reference... an article supposedly listed in a N.Y.C. (pre-national) TV Guide from Feb 20-26, 1953. Beyond that, nothing.

Before this thread get taken up with the usual BS from the Village Dildos

Question #2: What was the ORIGINAL Howdy Doody WEARING in his first incarnation? ie: Prior to the cowboy outfit we all know and love.

Question #3 John Zacherle used a certain item to represent the Human Brain. What was it? (This is a semi-tough Q...those with my book should know the answer.)

Sorry Corona...not even close...but then you knew that.

Q1 still unanswered as are the others. (so far)

#2: I can't recall what he was wearing but I believe that he was a redneck on the radio. So it would only be fitting to continue it onto tv. As I don't remember what he was wearing I'm going to guess it was overalls. I'm probably wrong though.

Here is a easy question. Ednigo Montoya (a character name of the actor I'm referencing) is currently acting for what popular TV show now? Also what his this actors character name in his recent Elmo movie?

What I'm looking for again:
Actor name:
Character name in Elmo movie:

Mandy Patinkin *was* in Criminal Minds (I believe he is no longer in the cast) and portrayed Huxley in Elmo in Grouchland.

Is this the thread for EASY??? Good grief...this play school needs a Nanny.
(Though Elmo in Grouchland is an excellent movie.)

Not overalls. Trivia at this level is a bear because there isn't much to look up...you either know it or you don't or at least have a vague recollection...a guess from left field will usually deposit you back there in left field. These days finding Google PROOF trivia has to come from the deep dark recesses of experience...so that lets out 90% of the sprouts on the Café. haha.

Lets stick to the hard stuff please. Q's 1-3 remain unanswered.

Excellent Mr. Peeair! As I said a semi-tough one but with answer available with either good memory or a bit of diligence.

Ask #4 please and make it TOUGH if you will.

Q1 and Q2 still without answers.

Yeah, I searched Youtube and saw a video of a brain and guessed what it was.

Okay a tough question now...

#4 In the 1966 Batman TV series:
Who was the first celebrity shown looking out a window during the famous "Batclimbs"?

Not a truly hard one, but one I think you have to remember to know it.

The original Howdy was described as dressed like a 'country bumpkin' prior to becoming a cowboy. This from the Howdy Doody museum. I will tell you this from experience, a drunk Bob Smith was not a nice man.

Or if you have the internet you can look it up, Jerry Lewis (apparently)

So the trick is to find something that can not be easily goggled...

For instance,

What size shoes do I wear?

Well, at least I can answer the question I (so rudely) inserted: "Many Happy Returns" w John McGiver, only ran 5 episodes in 19964.
