Question #2: What was the ORIGINAL Howdy Doody WEARING in his first incarnation? ie: Prior to the cowboy outfit we all know and love.
He was wraped in bandages after his plastic surgery.

Ok bear with me here.

1st, Ross: I answered your question! Go look please!

No Corona...some people actually experienced History so that for some Trivia is not necessarily a file search.

Magic Santa and Ringmaster: Both Incorrect...though Ringmaster is correct on the 2nd Guise of bandages on his return from the Hospital. A frightening sight to us kids! I'm surprised the Howdy Doody Museum has their head up their butt. The Country Bumpkin was always Dilly Dally. Howdy had another persona at first. If you want to give up on the Howdy Doody bit let me know.

I think he was referring to you Corona.

No...Corona is a harmless Gadfly and former partner in crime.

Would prefer Gadzook.

Local police have cameras in helmets now, plus sonic weapons mounted on buildings to deter teenagers with sensitive ears.

Blurting out meaningless information is not akin to art but is associated with Joshness...it also belongs elsewhere where I'm not trying to retain sanity...maybe in the Tourettes Lounge in the bottom most thread of the Café where plastic bats crap on relativity.

That only makes this seem the perfect thread for me.

How many ways does heat transfer, and what are the scientifically accurate names?

What article, aside from a name tag, must you wear at all times when working on an Army Corps of Engineers project. (Hint, technically you would even have to wear it under a crawl space in a house or in the middle of a barren field)?

Your most welcome IF you can answer one of the questions but that is a stretch of the Plasticman/Mr. Fantastic level ...I'm afraid the snapback could destry civilization as we know it.

ANSWER to Q #1. "Melon Head Mahoney"

Answer to Q #2 Coonskin Cap and Fringe ala Davy Crockett...only the ugliest most hideous puppet you can imagine...had no appeal...so they went for the Plastic Surgery. One of the most bizarre plots in the history of kid TV.

Followup: Where was the Puppet we know today carved? It is the same place that the actor Tom Mahoney (whom played Melon Head lived).

Q#3 was answered above. Cauliflower.

You are welcome to continue amidst the ensuing dilution.

Crime = police

gadfly = sonic insect/teenager repellant

ignorance = strength

need I go on?

still on topic,

Corona.

p.s

Which direction am I facing as I type?

North south east or west?

One guess only please.

Josh...1st you pose question not technically Trivia.

Answer to your 2nd: Hard Hat...which is more deduction than recall.

Gadfly is not an insect repellent...haha...you are a Gadfly...look it up.
Not a negative...you are! Gadfly: "Gadfly" is a term for people who upset the status quo by posing upsetting or novel questions, or attempt to stimulate innovation by proving an irritant...(Wikipedia)

The Café is gadfly central!

Oh, yeah, you did - sorry, call it a senior moment. How'd you know the answer to that?

Here's a question a bit harder for you.

What is the name of the song that Mowgli was supposed to sing about the girl? Who wrote it?

I can't find it on google but if you have access to a walmart you should get it. Sorry I haven't lived history yet(ask me in 30 years), but this is still interesting all the same.

The question was whether Doug could keep this thread under control.

I, unfortunately, am not altogether good at pop trivia. I try to remember important things. Like sayings from South park and Trigonometry.

Stan: "Oh my god, they killed the hypotenuse."

Kyle: "Those cord lengths!"
