So this whole birthday thing on Oct. 19th is a lie. It comes from the myspace page that was put together by the producers of the Modern Con Man DVD project I did. They slapped that page together without checking with me, so all the information on there is wrong. Since it a page promoting scams, I thought we should just leave the misinformation on it.

As it is, I am glad to have a second chance at a birthday this year. My real day is August 15th and it was a lousy birthday. My mother in law had a hip replacement the day before. There were major complications, so everyone was dealing with that and my birthday was almost completely ignored. There were a few feeble attempts by my family to do what they could, but the results were more depressing than joyous.

My wife had her hands full on the day, so she promised to make it up to me.

And she has.

Somewhere around Memorial Day we will be having our first child. Melvin Burkhart Tomani Bejano Christ Hall Zigun Higley Loudermilk Barnum Robbins! That will be the kids name...if it is a girl. I'm not sure what to call it if it is a boy.

I'd like to see Penn Jillette beat that name!
