Buy Martin Lewis' Making Magic....He teaches the effect, and alternate items you can use....

I have the Making Magic video, which is awesome. I've had problems finding a suitable plastic holder for this effect. Does anybody have a link for purchasing that cheap, but o so hard to find holder?
Thanks, Eddie |

I'm aware of the wine glass but prefer to have something less fragile to put in my case.

The holders are made by Martin for this effect and can be purchased direct from him (http://www.magikraft.com/). Or: buy the video and then contact your local plastics supplier and contract them to make you one. They are easily made, the materials are inexpensive and before long you will have what you need!
Also, if you have Eric C. Lewis' The Crowning Miracles book from Mike Caveney's Magical Publications, you will find this effect on page 27. Andrew |

I got my directly from Martin Lewis's website.. Get it as it will make the effect much smoother and better than using a wine glass.

I'd also get Making Magic, The Stand-Up Creations of Martin Lewis Vol. 1 DVD, as it's full of excellent effects such as Cardiographic, Ripstix, Technicolor Prediction, Comeback Card and Snacks Alive!

Actually, the whole trick is $60. I clarified with Susanne Lewis, it was $30 for just one holder!!

If you think that the price for Comedy Comeback card is too expensive, maybe you should take a look at this:
http://cw.vikingmagic.com/Horizontal%20Card%20Rise-standard It is essentially the same effect (I think comedy comeback card's routine is stronger, frankly) In my opinion, Comedy Comeback Card is a lot of trick for the money; I think it's terrific, versatile, packs nearly flat and plays big, and it's VERY commercial. What more could you ask for? |

I lucked upon a seller with an unused 'Comedy Come-Back Card', complete with the acrylic holder. I've been waiting to get a good deal on one with the acrylic holder for about 2 years.
Martin Lewis hasn't had the acrylic holder available for awhile. Now he includes a collapsible plastic wine glass. Retail price: $150 Mark

In our local ring we have suitcase of discarded magic. I found the Comback Card trick in this. The person who put in there for taking didn’t know what it was for. Love it and have used it in many corporate gigs.

Good to know this trick is still seeing the light of day. I have one buried in a drawer somewhere. Believe I picked it up at an auction for ~ $20.

This is the first trick I ever performed for an audience and I love it. I still keep the holder in the original box. It's a great routine and well worth the money.
