Ok... have any of you had a spouse cheat? and if so, were you able to save your marriage? And if so, how did you manage to forgive, and move on.

My wife cheated with several people, I found out. She has some mental issues, so not sure to what level that entered into it. She says she wants to stay together and says she wants to work everything out.

Problem is... I am not sure how I can ever trust her again. If any of you have dealt with this sort of thing from either side, and managed to make it work, I would deeply appreciate hearing your stories and advice.

Its best for those who don't know the facts to stay of the advice business in personal relationships. There is one person who really knows the best thing to do.

Is YOU. Knowing all the facts that you do.... Imagine it was your best friend in the exact same position asking you for advice. What advice would you really offer him?

Take that advice and then follow it.

I agree with Tim. We don't know all the facts. The two of you do. If you need seek marriage counseling.

Ditch her and move on.

Find someone who's going to stay faithful. Otherwise you'll always be looking over your shoulder on this one.

I am sorry to even have to say this, but Andi's response is very bad advice.
You probably do need professional help, but advice of Andi's nature is not very helpful.
Most of us here are incapable of offering sound advice, as we do not know your entire situation.
I have over 30 years of family counseling practice and would not even make an attempt at answering your question other than saying that I feel for you.

Please feel free to PM.

Hasty decisions are often later regretted.

Here kitty, kitty,kitty. Smile
