Ahhh, so you can't do it naked?

Can you do it in shorts?

Thanks for the review Xcath1.

I'm glad that you are happy with Compression. Like you said, an interesting presentation is key to good reactions. There are countless performance possibilities with it so I am sure you will find one that works best for you.

Looking forward to your review John!

This is not actually a version of Shrinky Ink. I came up with Compression before I even knew about Shrinky Ink.

I did, however, receive permission from Dan Harlan to sell Compression and there are several differences.

Compression can be performed surrounded, given away as a souvenir, is extremely easy to perform, and is much more versatile. If you read the DVD description there is more information about it.

Looking forward to the review John.

I just watched this, looks really cool. If I were to perform it though it would be rather 'by chance' or impromptu, I think it would elevate the reaction. The shock of it would definitely puzzle people.

two thumbs up! Smile

Thanks for the wonderful review John!

Tony: Do you have the DVD or have you only watched the demo video?

Weren't you trying to market this to Ellusionist first but they didn't bite? I was skeptical then but it seems like a nifty trick, and ending clean and giving the spectator a souvenir is very appealing. One question I gotta ask though...

Is the size adjustable? Meaning, people will probably complain about the size it shrinks to, like people complain about the load size for a pen through anything effect.

Can you make it shrink even smaller? Say 1/3 of a regular pen?

No. The compressed pen should be around one half the original size after the smash. Until you actually see it you don't realize how tiny it is.

Since the spectators have never seen a Bic pen at this size, it is extremely powerful. The size also allows them to actually use the pen. If it was any smaller it would be too difficult to write with and wouldn't be as good of a souvenir.

Hope this helps,

Daniel Lachman

Gotta agree with Daniel, fun effect, easy to do. I have been trying it out as a closer to "cap off". Requires switching pens but if you know the routine, the cover of taking the cap out of your ear is all you need.

Cool idea Xcath1...

You can actually have a smaller pen, as while mucking about, I came up with a routine where you do the Compression phase and hand it out to examine... then take it even further by compressing it even more... then hand it out... and finally it vanishes, or they keep the teeny pen.

But the normal Compression routine is best for giving the pen away as it's at a good size
