I wonder what would have happened if what he drew had looked like a chalk outline of a dead body?

About the birth controll pills. What's next an acutal hands on sex course for the the 11 year olds? God I wish I was a dog sometimes, then I wouldn't have to hear and read about all this cr%$p!

Don maybe you and I should start our own forum and use all the cuss words we want to!

Randy

I am saying all the words I want to but in code. The fact that it has not been picked up by any moderators is encouraging.
They are going to send me a PM soon telling me my posts have been deleted due to obscene language but can they find it. I want to be caught almost like a stick figure serial killer.

It's funny the kid said "the drawing showed a water gun and not a firearm" ... he's gonna make a good lawyer and / or politician if he can learn to keep a straight face when he splits hairs.

Here's another one for you. A 4 year old gets an in-school suspension for sexual harassment:

I've said this before. My nephew is a wussy and gets picked on at school (did, he graduated and....congrats...got flunked out of university in record time) by most people but a couple boys drew pictures of basic figured involved in gay sex with the nephew on the receiving end. The nephew then drew a picture of the boys who drew the gay act pictures being blown up. My nephew, who is half Arab and has a clearly Arabic last name, was expelled, the other little monsters were not. Do note that my nephew was very stupid to draw the picture and I told him. Since my sister in law was gutless I went with her to discuss the issue with the school, which is a private Christian school. The parents of the other kids were there and I clearly stated that since the nephews drawing was accepted as an indication of his true self then the gay act depicted by the other boys was a true indication of their sexual preference and as such should be expelled because homosexuality was not allowed in the school and that their records should be clearly marked that the reason they were expelled was their gayness. The parents of the boys didn't like this but since it was brought up and the principle was going to expell them for cause the parents of the now gay kids decided to have the issue dropped and my nephew was let back in to almost fail. The world is wussy!

11 year girls getting birth control pills...(without parents being told no less)

MAKMagic...you better starting thinking "Home School"

You and MAKMagic should save your outrage, because the story never said 11-year olds would be given birth control pills without parents being told.

It raised that idea as a fear in the first paragraph to presumably spark reader interest, but the rest of the story describes how that isn't about to happen.

For one thing, the story says that the "program is meant for 14- and 15-year-olds. Prepubescent girls won't be included."

And for another, parents "have to consent by signing a form allowing their children to be treated by the health center. That form would clearly say that the center offers birth control services. Girls seeking birth control will first travel a long - even arduous - road of counseling. For example, Rowe says a student would likely speak first to a school nurse who would provide information about the physical impact of early sexual intercourse. The nurse would also help a student think about caring adults in her life to whom she could talk. And the nurse might offer to join the student in contacting those adults."

Four-year-old suspended for hugging teacher's aid
Quote:
Bellmead, TX - Damarcus Blackwell's four-year-old son was lining-up to get on the bus after school last month, when he was accused of rubbing his face in the chest of a female employee.

The principal of La Vega Primary School sent a letter to the Blackwells that said the pre-kindergartener demonstrated "inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment."

Blackwell says it's ridiculous that the aide would misread a hug from a four-year-old.

Blackwell wrote to administrators demanding that the whole incident be expunged from his son?s academic file because his son is too young to know what it means to act sexually.

David Davis, the executive director of the Advocacy Center in Waco tends to agree with Blackwell. He says assuming the boy has not had sexual encounters, or been inappropriately exposed to pornography, most four-year-olds are sexually innocent.

Blackwell got a response from the La Vega administration. The sexual references on the discipline referral were removed. But the thing that makes Blackwell most upset is they told him "your request for an apology by the aide and removal of all paperwork regarding this incident is denied." Now the young student's file will refer to the incident as "inappropriate physical contact."

And Blackwell says he will continue to fight the district.

The Onion did a funny parody of this type of situation:

Don, I got one for ya! Earlier this week, a high school student brought a gun to school and "accidentally" shot a fellow classmate. His mother gets on the news AND BLAMES THE SCHOOL!! She said that if the school had metal detectors in operation, then they would have caught her son before he made it into the school. She accepted none of the blame for what happened. She said she knew her son was going down the wrong path, called the police a few times, but said they couldn't help because he hadn't broken any laws.

The only stupid question is the one not asked.
