Hey I was just wondering if anyone had any oppions or sugestions about the 16 year old magician looking for a mentor? Just something I read in the last two issues. THANKS TO ALL

I am 42. I am a newbie in comparison to most on this board. I do have a mentor, who has helped me focus, as well as expand my thinking beyond just knowing methods. Since I work a regular FT job, this is very helpful. I would strongly suggest that you find someone you can trust with your life. It's that important. If they are part of the "in" group of magicians, that's okay. If you find or know someone who can think for themselves and not give in to the group mentality, that is the best route. If your mentor is versed in theatre, that is a huge bonus. |
