I am needing a pa with great sound for music and voice for up to 300 people. I have been told that the eon is the best but I have a dealer that I can get great deals on if I buy one of the MiPro systems. I don't know anything about MiPro and I don't know if the built in wireless mic is anygood either. Any help would be appreciated.

Mipro makes an o.k. product but they only have a year warranty. I suggest going with an Anchor system- a lot better quality and a very nice 6 year warranty. Check out http://www.anchoraudio.com or http://www.wearefun.com and click on sound systems. Tell Joe Todd refered you!

And tell Todd that Steve recommended you follow whatever directions he gives you. He knows his audio systems...heck, he's owned ALL OF 'EM!

If you're looking at JBL Eon G2 10 speakers, I have a pair and they blow anything away in their class. Unbelievable bass for a 10" speaker. They're pricey but I haven't found anything in their price range comparable. I have seen more expensive speakers that are pretty good.

The speakers won't really do him any good without an amp/mixer, though.

I have the eon's and love them.

You don't need an amp with the powered JBL Eons. You do need a small mixer. My Eon G2 10 speakers are 175 watts each!

I have these and they are top notch. I would only use them for my largest shows.
Or for large outdoor shows where I really want to draw attention with pre-show music.
