I tried to change my profile in the Café after realising it is substantially out of date; my e mail address in particular, had been deactivated for the past 6 months. However, when I submitted my new profile, either of the two messages come up: 1) passwords do not match (I typed carefully each time to ensure they do match) or 2) e mail host not allowed (I tried gmail and hotmail, neither of these work).

What should I do?

I'm not sure about the password problem but you cannot use either gmail or hotmail for an email host. The Café does not allow free servers to be used.
