I know there are thread's on this. I've seen on here "Eclipse Wallet," "Himber Wallet," "BKM Wallet," but here's my question: I'm looking for the easiest peek wallet. Not one that you press and (God said, "Let there be light.") but where it gives the most Mentalism effects possible with this wallet. I want to be able to read people's minds and more. Like a multipurpose Mentalism wallet that does many effects. Thank you..

I love, the Sight Unseen Case from Mark Strivings. I know there is thread here on it somewhere! That's why I got it.

First, let me state up front that I'm a fan of the SUC. However, if your main intent is peeks, I like the Zingg. I think the Zingg has some significant advantages as a peek wallet. There are several excellent ways to gain your peek, to meet different situation reuqirements, performance style, etc. The SUC, in my opinion, wins for PW work and is a better looking wallet. As indicated above, there are some threads here you may want to check out. Good luck.

Is the Zingg a business card wallet like SUC?

The Zingg is somewhere in between a business card case and a full size wallet (sometimes referred to as an ID case?). It's appropriate for credit cards, business cards and inside has windows perfect for your license or photos. Just to give you an idea of its strengths, I have one handling where I have the participant write something on the back of a business card, then they open my wallet and remove my license, replacing it with the business card, writing side down. You never open the wallet again, yet still easily get the info. Zingg provides an extensive book with a lot of other great handlings, including some where the wallet is never opened at all. There are also non-peek ideas; loads, steals, PW variations, indexing, etc. Unless it's hype (and Allen doesn't seem like that kind of guy), there are not many more of these wallets available at present. A couple weeks back, I think Allen indicated he had 20 left. Feel free to PM me or maybe your best bet is to contact Allen directly. Good luck.

I have an SUC and a UPC (Untouchable Peek Case) and like them both as business card cases. My wallet is a Pimpernel Notecase.

My vote is for the Untouchable Peek Case. Before purchasing it I was using the Mind Spy wallet.

I love the Pimpernel Notecase! I watched Peter Scarlett demo it at a convention all week and had to have it.

I recently bought the Zing wallet and now have used it twice and loved it both times. It has a variety of methods within to get the peek and many subtleties. You can also NW through it.

But is the Pimpernel Notecase a peek wallet or a switching wallet?

Pimpernel Notecase is a card to wallet! No palming and the card can be signed!

I like the SUC because it's so versatile. Peeks are easy with the SUC.

Just to add another suggestion, Bob Cassidy made (and may still) a peek wallet from a standard nylon-and-velcro wallet. It comes with a good routine in which you start the mind-reading and get one solid hit before you ever touch the wallet -- which happens in a sort of tossed-off gesture.
Caveat: It takes Bob a long time to fill orders sometimes. And the wallet smells like cigarettes until you air it out for a while... But it's a great prop for peeks, and it truly looks like an ordinary, everyday item because it is. Cheers, Jerry |

Has anyone seen JB magic's Mind Control Wallet? It seems to have the same effect as John Cornelius' Thought Transmitter. I'm not sure if this is the kind of wallet you all are referring to, but if any of you have used these, what are your comments? Thanks!

The Mind Controller Wallet (not my choice of name ) is indeed a peek wallet. It can be used as an everyday credit card/ business card wallet that takes up very little room in your pocket. The operation of it is extremely simple and although "apparent to those in the know, " I have found that it is perfect to use for getting your business card out there. There is a multitude of possibilities when it comes to creating routines. At around £20 a go, I personally think that it is a little too low priced for what you are getting. Good quality lined leather, well-constructed, and made to last.
But hey guys, I am a little biased (read the advert, you'll know why). I'd love to buy another peek wallet, but why double up on something that suits me fine. Buy one. You won't be dissapointed. Regards, Mark ![]()

The Mind Controller isn't a new idea, though. It's been around for ages and a day under the name "The Jaks Wallet", after mentalist Stanley Jaks.
Most Jaks Wallets, however, look more natural, because they don't have the additional panel (the MC has four panels, whereas most Jaks wallets are more "normal" looking tri-folds).

Hi Andy,
You said: "the MC has four panels, whereas most Jaks wallets are more "normal" looking tri-folds)". I just stumbled across this from the ever evasive Mr. Cassidy: "you may be suprised to learn that he used a bifold wallet ... rather than the trifold .... commonly referred to as a Jaks wallet." Oh no, I've joined the hair splitting crowd! I blame this partially on you! Hope all is well. Bill |

Ok, here we go...
Mark's SUC and Richard's UPC are not wallets, they are business card cases. Both are brilliant. Zingg's wallet is a credit-card-sized case, that he says carries cash. Out of the three mentioned his has the most facility and certainly the most effects in the instructions...but it looks like crap! (My opinion.) He says it looks like it was made in a craft fair (an understatement, in my opinion), and unfortunately my clients expect a little more class than this. Archie McIntyre has a wallet out that is both well-made/beautiful, and devious! Called the MultiMentalist wallet, it has some wonderful applications, is a tri-fold wallet with a notepad (for add-a-no), a credit card slot (for switches), a plastic insert (for currency) as well as a slide for card-to-wallet. But you can't afford it! Sell your children, and get one. From him or me. I did...and I didn't need the child, anyway...

As I said, though, most Jaks wallets are trifold, or at least the commercial ones; going back to the original one first sold by Tannen's (either in the 1950s or 60s depending on whose guesstimate you go by). --A

Okay, I don't think I made myself clear. I'm looking for a wallet for peeks, reading people's mind effects, getting information. I am not looking to do NW. So, can someone suggest a wallet for those effects?
