I'm actually quite happy with the Mind Controller, as a business card wallet i think it's great to end my close up set with an effect where i can give away my business card at the end. I use it in conjuction with the Anything Deck, and it's gotten amazing reactions. I'm not really a mentalist, though i'd like to work on that in the future. right now close up is more fulfilling and lucrative for me

Skitch,
Yes. All of the cases/wallets mentioned are for peeks. Some of them also can do NW, PW, loading, etc. Quote:
However, if your main intent is peeks, I like the Zingg. Quote:
My vote is for the Untouchable Peek Case. Before purchasing it I was using the Mind Spy wallet. Quote:
I like the SUC because it's so versatile. Peeks are easy with the SUC. Quote:
Just to add another suggestion, Bob Cassidy made (and may still) a peek wallet from a standard nylon-and-velcro wallet. Quote:
The Mind Controller Wallet (not my choice of name ) is indeed a peek wallet. Take your pick, and take your peek. --Andy P.S.-You said you wanted multipurpose wallets that did many effects; a peek wallet only does one thing, although you can cloak that in many presentations. A multipurpose wallet is one that does peeks, PW, NW, loading, etc. So these folks were just answering the question you asked.

I wasn't trying to sound rude by any means. I'm sorry to all if it come off that way. It just gets frustrating for me because a lot of nice Magic is out there but I can't do half of it because of my wrists. Sometimes I just get upset and I'm sorry if I sounded like I took it out on anyone. Just wish one person could mention a wallet and that's the one I pick. I just want to make sure before I spend my money which I don't work and earn I want to make sure I'm getting the right one.

It's a hard question to answer, because there is no right one for everybody. Some people love one, while others may hate that one. It's a very personal thing; I looked at various cases and wallets for over a year, even designing a prototype of an original wallet, before finding one commercially available that I fell in love with.

I second Alan's comments I think that SUC could be the ideal one for you

I'd reckon Peter Nardi's Mind Spy wallet. This wallet is a peek wallet, himber and also act as a card to wallet. It also has note pad in it. Not cheap though.

All right, I'm going to chime in here one more time. After reading all of the above, along with some PMs back and forth with Skitch, I suggest he go for the SUC. Since he's concerned about price this is probably the most affordable of the "elite" and he can even accomplish all he wants with the original rather than the SUC II and save a bit there. OF course, he has to be OK with a business card case rather than a wallet. As much as I love the Zingg as I indicated above, I know others (see ESPMAGIC above)are less than satisfied with the quality. I've never heard of anyone (well, maybe one sort of exception but I won't mention his name here, ahem)who wasn't happy with the SUC.
With all this, Andy made probably one of the most astute points re: the performer and cloaking via presentation is what really makes the effects work. I know this is astute because I told Skitch the same thing. So Skitch, go forth and SUC your way to fame and fortune. |

It was something that Mark Strivings wholesaled to magic shops at one point, so there's probably a shop somewhere that has one.
I got my first one from Mark at a lecture a long time ago and another one from a magic shop years later to replace my worn out one. Isaac Louie |

Best one - hands down - Thought Transmitter! Check it out! Love it, but you can't do it in the day time outside. I failed to check one show, and I had to fall back to the line... the mental freq. is not very good today.. next effect. I totally was caught off-guard!
