Mesmer,
To go along with your pickpocket routine & how you mention they use knives to cut the material, etc, you could "remove" a dinner knife from their pocket and comment, "Looks like someone's already tried this on you". You then remove a fork and a spoon and say, "Hmm, looks like you've been doing a little pickpocketing yourself sir". Rick Mearns

Mesmer,
check out Wayne Dobson's routine of "Knife Trough Coat". That is my favorite version. He has a nice plot around it and is also doin' some Ventriloquism. So funny and easy to adapt! Cheers, Jarod
