This could be a follow up for when they ask "do it again". or you ask them if they'd like to see it again. That could work. Hey, I'm talking about the trick, not Kris. He seems like a decent enough fellow.

Kris,I have thought about it and I'm unable to seperate the 'politics' of what Magic Makers do. With quite a few of their products they wait untill someone else
does the groundwork then they bring out their 'version' [Cardtoon,Million dollar booktest, and the Transpo kings all spring to mind. People selling drugs to school children talk about 'free enterprise' I'm not comparing the two but really please don't tell me they are an ethical company.

I can admitt that this might not be the best Torn and Restored Card trick out there. The card can't be handed out and it's not that visual. But, it is impromptu and only uses one card. If someone just hands you a pink and yellow card you can rip and restore it. The signature can be all over the card. I feel this is a good enough T&R and there is no use in learning another one.

I recalled that krisnevling had that trick made a DVD and sold in conventions, then afterwards an exclusive at houcus-pocus years ago, before it is release by Magic Fakers recently.
Mr. Krisnevling, you definitely cannot make a living by just performing magic, I know it because I have a friend doing so and he is a world class card magiciain, and it is extremely difficult to own a magic shop without losing your lifetime savings (because I lose mine already.) However, no offense to Mr. Krisnevling, it is not an excuse for a person / company to ripped off other people's product. You may do it, but sooner or later you will have no friends in the circle. Yes, I am a loser and lose almost everything because of magic business, but I earned friendship from friends I never imagine I can have, and I know I will earn more, simply because I have a bottomline to hold in my life. Just my sharing with you.
Most memorable moment - with Maestro Juan Tamariz & Consuelo Lorgia in FISM Busan 2018.

I played with "ReinCARDnation" with a friend other day and we came to the same conclusions:
1) It's actually a pretty cool trick. 2) We both preferred the 4th piece restoration "on the top". (You get two methods.) 3) The most convincing part overall is handing out the 3/4-restored card, which really helps sell the ending. 4) The suggested ending is efficient, timed well, and sufficiently logical. 5) Kris: The ad copy is misleading. If you ask 100 magicians, they will say that "Everything is examinable before, during, and after the routine" implies that you will hand out a fully-restored card at the end, which you can't do. Sorry, mate, but there's no way around that. You did what someone else did recently with an ACAAN trick: you got too cozy with semantics and your own clever interpretation of the implications vs. facts. 6) My friend and I agree: The MOST CONVINCING T&R card routine with the best angles for a walkaround performance is Yves Domergue's "Ripped and Restored". In 2nd place, in my opinion, is Brent Braun's "Torched and Restored". It's not quite as clean BUT it's easier and has great angles. [The most popular other routine out there (not Hollingworth's) clearly borrows Yves' routine, ending in a way-convoluted 4th-piece restoration with really bad angles. Yikes!] With that said, "ReinCARDnation" is really cool and will be a convincing effect for anyone to be able to do impromptu, with truly only ONE card, which can be BORROWED. Recommended. - Steve Hook

Yves, I recently got the Ripped and Restored DVD and it's great. It's annoying that people "borrow" your routine and then make a video and sell it. I'm not bringing up any names. Anyway, great DVD.

Just ordered reinCARDnation.
I got this because I wanted a torn and restored repeat. My idea is to do Torn(DG) and then offer to repeat it by doing reinCARDnation. Or do reinCARDnation get the last peice wrong and do it again ("give me another chance, I can do this, I've done it before")by quickly doing torn under pressure (acting). The other ending I could think of for reinCARDnation was to restore the card and then say that I would like a memento of the moment by keeping a quarter for myself, so I'll never forget them. I'll see how it goes.

Having performed ReinCardNation and also Simplified it to suit my performance style(being a bit lazy to learn all the subtleties as well), I really think that it's a great follow up to something like Torn. Having worked it only a few times, the audience are very impressed.
Still I need to find a solution to torn quarter to impossible location. Fob? quarter under watch? Ideas anyone?

For a piece by piece T & R, LokI Kross's "Legacy" from his DVD A Taste OF Chaos is superior to this. For a flash restoration, I prefer Justin MIller's Decent or Francis Menotti's Smacked.

Why, is "Legacy" a piece by piece t&r using just one card? I don't think so.
And, I'm sorry but Warped and Restored is not for me. I'm interested in both of those flash restorations but will work ReinCARDnation a bit more before considering adding a flash restoration somewhere. The only problem with ReinCARDnation is what to do with the final piece. I've restored the card, then ripped out a quarter again, then I've made it vanish and reappear in a spectators pocket, which completely fried. That's not consistant however, on another occation I've just made the quarter appear behind someones shoe (they were sitting on the floor) and another time under the card box.
Booyah!
