This is perhaps the most bizarre 'kids' show I've ever seen. I would have loved if a series was made of this.

I liked the end when everyone died. That's my kind of movie.

I'm waiting for Woolfs Magic to bring out an effect based on that before adding it to my kid's show.

It will go great with my 'Run, Satan Run' and my 'Hippity Hop Cthulhus'.

Loved the video by the way!

Great! But why was it banned? Sunday school is scarier.

Was it really designed for a kid's show? It looks like a brilliant film student project...Whoever made it is quite creative and will go far....

This is the stuff that would win awards at a Film Festival like the Toronto International Film Festival's Midnight Madness programming.

My previous post looks as if I am putting down the movie. I am not! I enjoyed it thoroughly, and my reference to Sunday school was a dig at Sunday school, not the movie.

I once saw a kid's show from the 60s hosted by Anton LaVey himself. It never made it to the networks though.

The older character with the mustache resembles Mark Twain. Is there any way of finding out the title and other information about this?

I'm sure it IS supposed to be Mark Twain. Probably refers to his unfinished work, "The Mysterious Stranger". Well worth a read.

It's a clip from "The Adventures Of Mark Twain", 1985. (Released in the UK as "Comet Quest".)

By the same guy who created the California Raisins, Will Vinton.

Mark Twain was always getting his books banned during his lifetime. He would be proud to know that his thoughts are still considered dangerous today.

This is brilliant clay-mation!

Sure, war games and war on the news is fine for kids,
but somehow this is not???

A magical idea:
how about using a Venetian style mask,
such as this one,
and ventriloquism, to narrate a magic routine?

Two marvelous quotes struck me as quite profound:

“I can do no wrong in life… for I do not know what it is.”

and

‘Life itself is only a vision, a dream,
nothing exists but empty space and you…
and you are but a thought.”

Thanks for sharing this clip!

This animation is definitely a reference to the Mysterious Stranger. The first dialogue (beginning cut off) says ". . . to the Mysterious Stranger".

In addition, if memory serves, the story itself was about someone holding a conversation with the devil when he wipes out a world of miniature people (made of clay I think).

I had better review the story.
Beware of this and that.
