Hi again. I am sorry if you are getting tired of me and money videos, especially on the greek deal. That is why I am asking, would anyone be interested in watching a video when I do a greek with a cut card? Some of you suggested I should try it as it is more difficult, which definitely is true but, I played around with it for 5 minutes and I might have found a solution. It is nowhere near perfected or even practised, I am just asking because if you think something looks weird, then I won't even bother practising it. Let me know. thanks
Sincerely, Kim |

Since we use plastic cut cards here and hanker after mastering it ourselves as we haven‘t yet done so, we look forward to seeing any good Greek Deals done with them. The last one looked so good to me that I personally would buy an instructional DVD from you if you had one.

Tommy don't get your hopes up. This is just a prototype with 2 minutes of playing around for practise. I will post a video later today, have to get some sleep now. Ill be back in about 8-10 hours with a video.

Hello again, I decided to post the video before I go to sleep. This one is posted for you to look at the bigger picture, the technique itself. I already know about my wrist turning down, the setup being bad etc. I will fix that but do you think this is a good technique to practise?

That would work in the games I play. Can you sail it to a partner rather than give it to yourself?

Thanks Kim, it looked cool. The black cut card stands out against your fair skin and the white borders of the cards. I don’t think I have seen a white cut card which would probably be best as that would be taken for the border of a card. Any event its looking good but I can’t seem to get the hang of it, rather I keep catching an hanger.

I have also seen cases where people trim the cut card to eliminate the set up before the deal. Since it is a cut card vs. a regular playing card, people are less likely to complain about the short card discrepancy. Hence, dealing a greek is easier.
It's just a thought....enjoy !

Magickim,
good work, but like Tommy pointed out that cut card really stands out side jogged like that. A while back, I sat at a table with someone who had cards bubble, from squeezing, and spread to the back. I didn't see anything and can't prove anything was going on, but I asked that person to please keep the cards flush or deal off the table. |

Thanks for your replies.
rawdawg, now you confuse me... watch the video again, _to the end_. About the card sticking out, the brief will of course get smaller with practise, I hope and think that it won't show very much when I have mastered the move. Kim |

I read Fred Robinson’s deal is universally regarded as the finest technique for dealing greeks, though it requires a slightly ‘fidgety’ get-ready. The Robinson technique is unpublished but he has book cooming out with it in does anyone know when or does you know Fred and is it good?

Ah, you're right. I stopped it early because I thought you were just going to repeat in slow motion. My attention was really on my Bánh mì at the time.

The best Greek deal for gambling that I've seen was used to deal one card to the accomplice on the last round in stud (when the deck's extremely thin). No get ready whatsoever, the cut card is absolutely flush with the bottom of the deck the whole time. The best way to describe it would be a strike 2nd deal done from the bottom of the deck. This was used for casino poker, by the way.
