Hey there!
I'm working on a routine utilizing the Lumball machine along with Wolf's Ring Grinder. The two seem made for each other, but I'm trying to work out a routine where there's a bit of a time delay or something that will aid in the deception of things. I don't want to do the grinder then go right to the machine. Seems a bit obvious. Any suggestions???? --Jon |

Make out the trick has gone wrong and go into another effect leaving the audience hanging about the rings fate...the interim effect is over which could be something that links you into using the gumball machine then into the surprise revelation of the ring

Perhaps, supposedly restore the ring (duplicate), only to have it vanish from another location. This adds a side path, making the straight line from the grinder to the gumball machine less noticable.

Jon, Glad you like my unit! It's good to hear somebody out there is sticking to the ORIGINAL! It is made for eachother, Chance designed it after playing with the LumBall. If any of you have ANY questions concerning the routining or my LumBall don't hesitate to pick up the phone or email me.

I never had the chance to really get on here to write, always busy performing.
I just want to say THANK YOU to ALL who bought and supported my LumBall Machine throughout the years! Proud to have TOP pros who supports it like Kevin James, Mike Giusti, Jeff Peterson, Lee Grabel, consultant Tim White (Copperfield's right hand man for over 20 years), Taylor Reed just to name a few. Over 202 units sold up to date! With the help from Hocus Pocus, sold over 95 units! First let me explain the history of LumBall Machine and the Joe Givens unit (real quick), when I was touring in Asia, I was using my LumBall Machine unit and it has been in my repertoire for over 5 years (that would be in the 80's). I NEVER really wanted to market the effect. Then I heard Joe Givens marketing his unit in USA at the same time. We both never met and never seen each others unit. Its a situation like DLites in the USA and Juan Mayrol in Spain. Each developing theirs far-away. Hey, it happens! It's just ashame to see, that two (2) units come-up recently costing $300.00. And people are supporting that and if you all want to pay $300.00 for a "Ring In Gumball effect, and do not want to pay the cost of LumBall Machine, I suggest you buy the Joe Givens unit that's going to come-out soon!!! I guess its like people that want a Origami and don't want to pay 10,000 (with cases and rights) so they buy a "Knock Off" for 300.00 just to HAVE the effect! Ray

I agree with markparker. You act like the trick failed - ask them "Do you have another ring I could borrow? No? Well as long as you are here you might as well help me with another trick..." Then somehow have that effect end with quarters as a reward and have them "spend" the quarters in the gumball machine - maybe they will get lucky. It sounds to me like it has real possibilities and would give you the break that you desire.
