Hi all,

Found this on youtube and thought it was of some interest regarding comedy in juggling...

W.C. Fields

Plenty of great tips and gags (the box kicking with the foot, balls, etc..)

Enjoy !!

^^

(Apologize if this has been already posted, I did a search and found nothing)

Thanks for the post Lawrens. I haven't seen that in years. That clip started me working on cigar boxes and cane stuff. He makes it look easy.

Ah Yes,
From "The Old Fashioned Way" (1934). A classic bit of juggling footage. I have a copy of this in my video collection. Clips from this were also included in the movie "Juggling" by Strider Productions. It's the only time Fields ever got any of his juggling act down on film in any of his movies. Classic. I've seen it 100's of times, yet I never tire of watching it.
Thanks for posting it.

All,

My post of the "Maniac Juggler" brought about a question emailed to me about Fields. It says:

"...Do you have any contact with any of the old W.C. Fields (could be under Claude Dukenfield) B&W films? I have been wanting to see a record of W.C. kicking up a hat, cigar, matchbook, and wallet (hat on head, cigar in mouth, matchbook in front pocket, wallet in back pocket) that I have heard about. . . . can't find it anywhere."

I don't believe that I've heard of this trick - anyone else?
