Richard, why do you change your bills so much? Why can’t you ever just be happy with the bills you have? Also, did you put slush powder in my Lota Bowl?

Dave,
I DO NOT change my bills often. However, I am working on a multiple Lota Bowl switch. The method involves an old Alex Elsmley move and access to the Morrisey Magic warehouse |

I agree Chris - Sanders and Acer are two of my absolute favorites for both practical magic and entertainment value. Richard and David, even though we've chatted through email a few times (and David was nice enough to put a humorous quote on my new Ebook), I really hope to meet both of you in person someday. Will either of you be in Buffalo, NY anytime soon? Are there places, lectures, etc to come see either of you up there in Canada? I'm not far from the border and my performances during the summer take me there every so often.

Hi Brian,
Buffalo is not far at all. Maybe Dave and I can plan a little tour through the Eastern States for Roadkillers 2...who knows. I'd love to meet you if we are ever in the area. Just in case, we are there, how will I recognize you? I will be easy to spot cause I'll be wearing my Hugard and Braue designer trousers...red backed, of course. |

I'm easy to spot. I am 50% Italian and 50% German...which means I have large eyebrows and a larger appetite. Seriously, just look for the eyebrows

Another little known fact is that he was unable to perform a pass. Fortunately he had a totally invisible Double Undercut. Now for a serious question—Richard, you’ve published and/or marketed over 600 different bill changes, such as VisiBill, Slow Burn, Fast Forward, Three Fold, and so on, all the way back to Richie’s Double Bill Switch in Natural Selections (1996). Even though every one of these is great, you obviously can’t perform all of them on the same show, so which one do you use most? And I have them all, so don’t think I’m going to feel “ripped off” if I “hear the wrong answer,” or that I’m “just saying that” because I will “prepare a class-action lawsuit” if it’s “anything other than Visi Bill.” |

Visibill is better than Slow Burn? I didn't think anything was better than Slow Burn(glad I didn't buy Hundy 500 and I probably will sell my 3d cash dvd at the next local ring auction). don't get me wrong, they are good effects IMO, but Slow Burn....its just incredible.. the jaws open wide with it. Hey wait, that happens with fiberoptics too.. I hear interlace is that way too (the demo movie clip looks pretty good..will probably have to buy that one too). Sounds like Richard's effects have a pattern here, but I digress.. Richard, which bill change do you do most often? Which one do you like the best (as David Acer asked earlier)?

I'm addicted, someone please help me.
Is it so wrong to want bills to change...in an extremely visual manner? I'll continue this post a little later...my bills are calling me! |
