For the complete story:
http://cdl.library.cornell.edu/cgi-bin/m......-0155-16 Funny to see that loaded dices and crooked coins were already in use by the ancient Romans. Old crooked cheating methods are still worth to be studied and learning from the past is a sure way to better understand the present. |

Loaded dice (bones) were found in the tombs of the Egyptians as well. I guess us blacks were always cheating at something.

I would bet that Kevin has the historical information somewhere, he has always been great about answering questions if he can. He supplied some of the photos in the slot dice book I wrote. http://www.dicecollector.com/diceinfo_books.html The slot dice book has a lot of requests in queue now so I will do a staple bound run of those soon.

KingStardog thanks for the links. For some reason I believe I've been to one of them sites before but it was a long time ago. I'm into cheating dice and cheat at dice. You know as a matter of fact Walking Liberty and I just spoke about you/site last night.
Again thanks, Your Friend Doc |

I apologize for butting in ...
As to the weighted dice ... It is my guess that there have been skewed dice ... ever since dice have existed ... Skewed could either be dice that just normally roll with a bias ... or dice that have been modified (gaffed) I have seen many ancient dice over the years ... and most of them ... at least on the surface ... seem to have been modified As to the addition to the Jackpot / Slot Machine dice book ... I am looking forward to the new info ... please let me know if I can be of service ... and as always ... feel free to use my photos ... |

I am not much into doing magic ... as I am both a Schlameel and a Schlamazel But I am still amazed by accomplished practitioners ... just like a kid Is anyone aware that Louis Zocchi ... owner of Gamescience (dice) corporation is a magician? |
