I know this is many months away but Atlanta is set to have a great convention. The date is August 21st-23rd 2008 This is the SEAM convention. The web site is http://www.seam2008.org

There is a some great benefites to registering early. One, we are going to have priority seating. Also we will have a drawing for a FREE night hotel stay.

It will be great. There will be some great cash prizes and the Hal Martin Trophy presented.

I think this could be one the best regional coventions!

Midwest jubilee had pretty rough competition settings...all of us stage competitors were wondering if there was even an audience...but that's what you get for competing in a contest that starts at 8:00 in the morning! Not good timing at all especially for a comedy act! Ah well...you can't win 'em all!

It was just as rough for us close-up guys, especially since I was up at Tony's until about 2 AM...

I just hope I don't have any problems at the airport with my time machine...

Lucy and I are looking forward to another great SEAM in Atlanta. We plan to be there.

Tuesday night I announced it in the Ring 35 meeting and recruited some competitors for the competitions at SEAM 2008. I hope three days is enough!

With Ken and Paul working on the SEAM 2008, we have good reason to expect great things again.

Glad to see that Atlanta picked up SEAM 2008. I had the pleasure for performing on the Gala show, close-up, and lecturing at for SEAM 2006 in Birmingham, AL. Michael Baker and gang then a wonderful job. I pencil Aug 21 - 23 on my schedule.

To bad that my son, Jordan will not be able to come to SEAM 2008 because he will be back in school in August. He just loves watching Ken Scott perform.

We just added Tony Chapek to our saturday night Gala show. He was just on the magic awards TV show Friday night.

Ken....Jordan is 9 now. He performs his own act now called Gennie in a Bottle.

Kyle....No Rubik Cube Act this time like at Midwest Jubilee of Magic because I will not be performing at SEAM. Just there to enjoy the other acts and to hang out.

I can't wait to attend and see all my convention buddies. And my main goal is to win the HAL MARTIN trophy, that has slipped through my fingers in the past.

SEAM is always a great event and always will be.

When the Atlanta group hosted this in the past, they would have the stage contest on Thursday night has the Thursday night show. Will they do this again?
